🎙️ Big Community Update — The Art of Seeing is Going Fully Free
Hey everyone, I wanted to share some exciting changes that are coming to The Art of Seeing. The community is now completely free for everyone. No more paid tier, no more subscriptions. If you've been on the fence about joining or upgrading — the door is now wide open. What's changing: - One monthly live call instead of weekly (quality over quantity) - Guest speakers when I can get them. And yes, I'm still in talks with Platon for the fall 👀 - A new monthly format, see below What's NOT changing: - My commitment to this community - The depth of the conversations we have about photography and intentional seeing - The fact that this is still one of the most genuine photography communities out there What's coming: I'm working on something more intensive for those who want to go really deep — a focused program where I work with a very small group one-on-one. If that sounds interesting to you, keep an eye out. It's coming soon. And I need your input 🗳️ What format would you prefer? Option A: A photo contest, where the winner gets a free 30-min 1-on-1 call with me Option B: Assignments with written feedback from me Drop your vote in the poll. @Bettina Manthei Love the compliment to Bob, Bettina! Bob is an absolute legend, and his deep experience and perspective always adds much value to our conversations here. At the same time, The Art of Seeing is built around a very specific philosophy and visual approach that I’ve developed over the years. To keep that unique identity sharp, the mentoring, core vision, and direction of the community will always stay with me, while I focus on driving the curriculum, hosting our monthly live masterclasses, and bringing in global guest speakers. We are incredibly lucky to have Bob as a fantastic contributor in the mix, and I really appreciate you sharing your ideas and helping shape where we're going together! :)

I enjoy playing with my pictures and creating art from them. Is this a good idea? what can i do better?

I like the idea! There is just a little to much going on for me in this photo. Also with the writing inside the frame. It immediately takes away from the photo in my opinion. Maybe try to stick to one color, or focus on the composition. This can really work! Well done :)
