A tip for the best socks to wear - wool or wool blend are great insulators. They’re usually a bit pricier compared to other fibres but if you’re a thrift store goer, you’ll likely find some. Alternatively, if you have a Costco membership or know someone who does, they sell their own brand (Kirkland) of merino wool socks for men and women at a good price. 😁

@Micheline Landry , like most outdoor enthusiast, I usually dress in layers so I can adjust to the temp as I warm up or the sun shines. A tip for your hands is to wear a pair of gloves under a pair of mittens so that if you need your fingers to zip or unzip or you found something of interest, your hands won’t get cold before you put your mittens on again. I hope to see more folks out there!
