Let’s Talk: What Does Independence Mean to You?
We spend a lot of time talking about history, politics, and Westminster but at the end of the day, independence is about people. Us. So let’s flip it around today: 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 When you think of an independent Scotland, what’s the first thing that comes to mind for you? Is it pride? Justice? Jobs? A fairer future for your family? Something else entirely? There’s no wrong answer here, I’d love to hear everyone’s take. Drop your one-liner, or your whole essay if you fancy, and if someone says something that resonates with you, let them know. This isn’t just about debating the past. It’s about shaping the vision of what we want tomorrow to look like.

I would love to have a strategy for keeping our resources, giving us smaller utility bills in the first instance. i think this is a vote winner, as well as reminders of what we stand to gain within an independent Scotland. We need a change of personnel in the parties to encourage new voters as all the anti-SNP voters use our previous failures to beat us over the head with, and I think that many previous SNP voters are very disenchanted with the party. however there doesn't seem to be a sensible alternative in my opinion, and with that void we are going to struggle to change peoples minds. Unless there are strong pro indy messages coming from potential parties with clear methods for the future success of Scotland, the undecided are going to go with the jingoistic soundbite peddlers.
