I come from a place where the earth has seen too much, where the wind carries stories that were never written down or talked about enough.... A place that bruises the heart And when you decide to listen long enough you can hear all the voices that has been through so much. Africa is not just a land It is a memory. with echoed footsteps that walked before yours or mine, some running some chasing survival, some carrying dreams that has cracked under the sun but never fully broken. Africa.... Where shadows lie Some even play Most are old And some are cold with a story longing to be told. Where hope is lost where hope is found generations that whisper hunger, loss, and storms, long night and heavy thoughts Knocking at doors. Africa Standing strong and bold not letting those old stories string them along where the men are tall, dark, and bold where the woman stands strong all year long from the ending to the beginning, singing along Africa Choosing to rise and shine, feeding from nature fighting for what's right, Stay humble through it all where the kids come along saying it all we are'' AFRICA'' My struggle is attached to my soil My laughter is prompted by my ancestors My roots are me. Africa Yes, I am humanly me Thanks for reading Delleesa Harris Balance the creator 5/11/26 AFRICA Poem

📚 URGENT! Children are missing school! June 8th deadline--current term!
Hello, Community! I know you all became members because you love children and want to support Grace for Africa Child Care Orphanage in any way that you can with the many expenses that come with raising, feeding, and educating children. ❤️ Recently, @Biyinzika Joshua reached out to me with this message: "Good morning, Sister Elizabeth. Greetings from the children of Grace for Africa Child Care Orphanage. I would like to inform you that the children started to go to school yesterday. Pastor Biyinzika Dan went to school and talked to the director because the children were missing school lessons, and they had spent two weeks without going to school, and God is good; the Director accepted it, and he gave us a grace period up to 8th June, and he told us that after 8th we should pay some school fees for the children to continue schooling. But we believe that our God is able and is going to provide." Joshua I encouraged Brother Joshua to make an update, yet I can feel he is so humble, reserved, and busy with 60 children to create a post...so here I am! 😅 THIS IS AN URGENT, TIME-SENSITIVE CALL TO ACTION—to KEEP the children in school this term...June to August. (then we will start again...wow—time flies!) 😅 PLEASE show your support—$1.00 and up...Can we do that? 📚❤️ Thank you to our generous monthly contributors for kicking this off -- @Richard Knight , @Ruth aka Grace Rose , @Elizabeth O'Carroll Sharing the link across your social media to spread more awareness is truly appreciated too!! 📚 Help 30 Children Stay in School This Term—June 8th!! https://gofund.me/eb6b5d878 Grateful to all!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 📚 Help 30 Children Return to School by August 2026! 📚❤️ Quick Challenge for our Grace for Africa Family 👇 What if this month we traded one coffee run ☕ or one pizza night 🍕 for a child’s education?
