Why nose to tail?
A nose-to-tail or animal-based diet improves nutrient density, enhances bioavailability of vitamins, and promotes sustainability by utilizing the whole animal—organs, bones, and fat—rather than just muscle meat. Key benefits include superior intake of collagen, iron, and B vitamins, improved digestive health, and reduced food waste. This month we will focus on the key information of why this lifestyle works for most people and the science behind it! (lifestyle is a preferred word choice for me because this isn't a diet fad but rather a way of life and living) Going forward will will share recipes, I will offer courses on how to make the basics like rendering tallow to shelf stable where it won't go rancid, lard, butter, we can dive into full meal recipes from there, we can also venture into skincare in the form of lip balms, whipped moisturizer, healing salves, possibly even soaps. We can focus on meeting the dietary needs of both children, adults and even our pets! We can talk supplements, and why root cause treatment is what truly heals out bodies rather than bandaging them and still silently suffering. The options are close to endless and I'm so happy to have you here to learn and grow!!! Stay wild friends ☺️
