Take the A-Train bass
I didn't realize that I could write here instead so the introduction is about a minute. The bass ukulele is a godsend in this case since I don't have a bass amp here, but the rubber strings feel somewhat sticky and the frets are sooo close together so it's really easy to do some hiccups. I think it sounds nice all in all.

@Ryan Navales Just wanted to record a video of how I'm guessing I should be practicing since this is completely new to me. This is me playing an A and B section of "Take the A Train", every new chord I play the third, the Barry Harris lick and then continuous 8th notes in a correct scale. On the Gm7 C7 I instead play a third and then a dominant triad to the next third. So a practice routine for this would be trying to learn how to do this flawlessly in every key before moving on to some more chromaticism? I'm a bit unsure about the language here, the Gm7 C7 in one bar, do you just call it a "One bar 25"? And do you just call them "first and second endings" in english or is there some other "jazzword" for it?

@Ryan Navales And about transcription, what I mean isn't that I need something new weekly, but I think it would be helpful to find inspiration if you were to share a solo on here every now and then that could be worth transcribing :)
