Tools used for recording
Good morning all, I’m planning to create training videos for my students using screen recording (without appearing on camera).Could you suggest: - Tools for screen recording - Options for adding voiceover without video - Tools to reduce background noise and improve audio quality Thanks in advance!

Hi @Rakesh Ram I use Descript for all of that. You can also use Loom, I know a lot of people like it but it never stuck with me. In Descript you can - Edit out all the "filler words", pauses, repetition with its AI features with a simple click which saves me so much time. - You can edit in text, so remove a paragraph or words and it will automatically remove it from the video. - You can record without video (you can also feed it a transcript and it will create an AI speaker but I never used this feature) - It has "Studio sound" feature that really improves the sound quality. I have been using it for over a year and use for all my YouTube videos, tutorials and short form. You can use my referral link if you want to give it a try.
My total 90 day reset: content + AI + mindset - who's in?
So I want to share some thoughts about how I will be approaching my content and value creation for the next 90 days as an experiment, why am I doing it and what's my hypothesis. TLDR: I am resetting my content strategy and if you want to join me for the next 90 day, vote below and if we have enough people we can do it together starting May 1! Where is it coming from: - I found myself in the OVER optimizing loop with AI when it comes to content lately and I don't like how it feels. Once I get an idea, instead of just raw posting it, I run it though claude and finetune it and then record, which is OK but my energy is off by then. I could literally just taken out my camera and recorded in 2 min. - I just watched this interview with Alex Hormozi (min: 6-21) where in the very beginning he talks about how "social" media has become "interest" media, meaning that views and metrics do not matter, but what matters is creating specific and valuable content for your ideal customers/audience and they should want to "save" your content because it's so valuable. Example: my lowest viewed videos brought in most members into this community and into my newsletter and Alex shares a similar example. Which really made me understand that I am optimizing for the wrong things and the time spent editing, tweaking etc could have been rather spent on creating more valuable content. These are the things I'm leaning into for the next 90 days: - Time-to-Value - I am optimizing for sharing my ideas, knowledge; and showing value (literally recording my screen how I do things with AI and making mini-series of it) vs getting stuck and editing, overthinking metrics and over engineering scripts. - After 90 days I will evaluate and then I can spend some time optimizing for what performs best etc. - I intent to spend absolute minimum time on social media, max 15 min for research + 15 min pockets a day to reply to comments, questions etc. - I will continue repurpose my own long-form content into carousels with Claude, non-cringe linkedin posts so I can up the quantity of the content I produce without compromising the quality. - Instead of spreading myself thin for the next 90 days I will only focus on Youtube, IG and Linkedin. - I will post every single day on IG (batch), twice a week on YouTube and once a week on Linked in. - I will simplify all my content Claude skills to more lean into my voice and less on "frameworks" because most frameworks that are out there are created for "social" media, not "interest" media so they are optimizing for wrong things.

@Rakesh Ram Awesome, we are doing it! 🤩
Friday is here - let's celebrate flops & wins🫶
Hi lovely members, how are we doing today? Let's share some wins this week, I'll go first 🙌 - 1 more YT video flop! 🎉 Now I am fired up and I am doing a total reset of my YT Claude Skills, I fell like I've over engineered them so it took the fun out of it for me and YT feels it 😅 Will be doing a new experiment where I go against all the sensible YT advice and just follow my gut for the next 30 days and report back! - new client for my VIP Day offer - we will be setting up Claude Cowork foundation for her business with 2 main prios: building distribution (content + growing email list) + building interactive "non-boring" digital products for her business. Super exited for this format. Overall, a good week - with many new releases that I will be playing more during the weekend Claude Design (finally renews my tokens today!), ChatGPT image 2.0 and New ChatGPT 5.5 model that got released today! Let us know in the comments what are you celebrating!

@Nils Davis you are crushing it, incredible work! 😎 So you were able to finally beat the token hungry Claude, that's a victory!!! What do you think about Underlord btw? I still am not able to get one-shot results, it more messes things up for me than bringing value so I still default to the more "manual" AI features (I have been using descript for over a year now). I love seining so many cool use cases, wins and updates - really appreciate you for taking the time to share!

@Nils Davis awesome! was I an infographic?
Monday is here... and I missed the memo😅
Hello lovely members! I don't know what happened, but either I have become 10x slower or the time has become 10x faster since last week! I am behind on most things since last week and I was hoping to do some work during the weekend, but I got a pleasure to hang out with my kids all by myself this weekend instead😂 (it was great, but 0 time for work). So my only goal this week ahead is to stay FOCUSED on the tasks at hand and actually FINISH them 🫠 I hope you are feeling more productive than I've been and wishing you an amazing week ahead! Feel free to what you are working on in the comments and let us know if you need any support from the community along the way🫶

@Nils Davis I really appreciate you sharing this reflection about Claude helping you becoming the person you wish you were. I love how you frame this, because this is where people miss out a lot, they jump into AI and start replacing things that really benefit from being done as a human and get disappointed when the audience/clients don't respond well to it. Instead of seeing AI as a side kick that can pick up where you about to drop the ball, complimenting your skill set instead of replacing it, delegating tasks you loath and procrastinate on to it...
Need Prompt and workflow for my requirement
I am planning to send newsletter every week on Sunday to my students learning IT audit. I want to start giving them a day to day example and map it to IT audit and explain them why audit is important and at the end explain them lessons learned from this incident. This is purely into IT side. Now, I have the follow requirement: 1. How do I prepare a Prompt for this? 2. Need a nice template 3. Prepare relevant Newsletter on the Topic Every week 4. Need to schedule that automatically to reach their email. How do I proceed on this Using Claude?

Hi @Rakesh Ram So this is how I'd approach it: 1. Start a new task in Claude Cowork. Tell Claude what you want to create a newsletter writing skill. Example "I want to create a weekly newsletter for my IT audit students. Each week it should cover a real incident, explain what went wrong, highlight lessons learned, and give practical examples. Please create a Skill for this task". Then Claude will ask you some questions and after this you can review the skill, finetune it and when you are happy with it - save. Next time you want to write a newsletter, Claude already knows what to do. You can also update the skill later if you want to change anything. 2. Set up a Scheduled task for research. Tell Claude to scan news sources every week and prepare a research brief for you on this topic (give more context on what you want to be covered). You can give examples, include links to websites, blogs, or news feeds you want it to read or just explain in detail what should it research in relation to this topic. Scheduled it to weekly. Once the research is ready, ask Claude in the same chat: "Now create this week's newsletter based on that research." It will activate the newsletter writing skill and give you the draft. A few notes: - You can set this up differently depending on your situation. Maybe you already have your own content you want to include. I always recommend you edit the draft yourself, add your own thoughts, your own examples, your own personality. Don't just send what Claude writes, but use it as a first draft that will help you integrate your own knowledge and ideas. - Regarding the template and sending it out - it depends which email marketing tool are you using? I use Beehiiv for example. Most email tools have nice templates you can pick from, and you can schedule your emails to send automatically every Sunday right from there or you can check if that specific tool has a connector in Claude Cowork and connect it that way.
