1️⃣ Stop running a charity. So many estheticians fail because they price themselves based on what the girl down the street is charging. You are not rewarded for being the cheapest. Your clients don’t even know the other esthetician exists. When you undercharge, you: - Can’t invest in better products - Can’t upgrade your space - Can’t hire help - Can’t market properly And then you wonder why you’re exhausted and scraping by. You cannot scale while trying to be “affordable.” 2️⃣ Don’t take shortcuts. If you cut corners in small things, you’ll cut corners in big things. Quality matters. Experience matters. Details matter. Million-dollar brands don’t look lazy. The way you treat your space, your content, your systems — that energy shows up in your revenue. 3️⃣ Sacrifice proximity. What you do frequently becomes your frequency. When I was building, I didn’t spend time around people who thought “comfortable” was the goal. Not because I thought I was better. But because I knew comfort kills ambition. If every time you talk about your goals someone says, “You’re doing fine” “Why do you need more?” “Just be grateful” You’ll shrink. And shrinking doesn’t build empires. 4️⃣ Jump before you feel ready. I’ve always been willing to bet on myself. New space? Jumped. New city? Jumped. New systems? Jumped. Most estheticians stay stuck because they wait to feel safe. Growth doesn’t feel safe. 5️⃣ Stop over-collecting certifications and start learning business. This one might sting. Esthetician school teaches you how to perform services. It does NOT teach you: - Marketing - Positioning - Sales - Authority - Scaling - Systems You can have 12 certifications and still be broke. Clients don’t buy certifications. They buy clarity, confidence, and results. And none of that matters if they can’t find you. 6️⃣ Invest in strategy, not just supplies. I did not build this alone. The biggest mistake I see? Spending thousands on machines… And zero dollars on learning how to actually generate demand.
