SIT DOWN, STAND UP, GET STOOD UP!
"To get stood up" is the same as being abandoned during a date or meeting. Have you ever been stood up? I hope not!

@Emily Storey, thanks for clarification. If I'm not wrong, "ghost" is used for wider terms as well๐Ÿค” E.g. just in apps, not dating ones, like language exchange or friendship apps, sometimes they write once or twice and then disappear in thin air. :) That time can be said to be ghosting as well, if I am not wrong.

@Emily Storey, one word has different meanings, and one meaning corresponding to different words is the beauty of the English language. ๐Ÿคญ
28-04-2026 - Tell me about...
This time, I want to tell me about your most recent hobby. Why did you start doing it? What do you like the most about it? Do you recommend it to others? Why? Write a short paragraph in the comments and I will correct it for you.

I don't have any new hobbies. Generally, I like watching movies and series and reading books. I try to do them in English now. Some years ago, I was using language exchange apps to communicate with English-speaking people, and that was another hobby maybe, but I think it has grown out of me now. ๐Ÿ˜†

@Jack Hastings Recently, I think I didn't watch anything. Generally, movies like "The Book Thief," "The Imitation Game," "The True Spirit," "The Maze Runner," and so on were interesting for me to watch. I'm not specific with genre as long as they're interesting to me.
Grammar
Ok, I was writing something yesterday, and grammar correction corrected me. It was putting the article "a" before "strength." For me, "strength" is an uncountable noun, so why does it need "a" before it? I assume it is the concept when nouns are both countable and uncountable. I notice I always make mistakes with them . How can we identify when they are countable or uncountable? (I mean these nouns, which are both)?
