Welcome to the 30-Day Aerials Intensive
Welcome to the 30-Day Aerials Intensive! 💥 I’m so glad you’re here. Over the next 30 days, we’re working through the Aerial 4-Step System together, one step a week. You’ll learn the step, teach it in your own class, and come back to tell us how it went. Start with the Welcome lesson. It explains exactly how this works 👉 https://www.skool.com/acrodanceschool/classroom/fd206d18?md=a114e6e8ecf44f92b59c85a4b0d57426 Then come back and post below. And after you post, leave a comment on the person above you. 👆 POST THIS IN THE COMMENTS I’M IN ✅ Where I’m starting from: The class I’ll be using for this Intensive: The ages of my students in this class: The biggest challenge or frustration I’m having with aerials right now: What I’m most excited to get out of this 30-Day Intensive: Where you’re starting from can be: brand new (never attempted aerials), fixing aerials, taking it from a run to a step, trying a new method, or something else. I’ve gone first below. Don't forget to comment on the teacher above you to show your support of your fellow colleagues:) Looking forward to reading your kick off post! 💜 Miss Melissa

Where I’m starting from: I've been teaching beginner level acro for many years, but slowly progressing into more advanced tricks The class I’ll be using for this Intensive: Once a week acro class, teaching aerials to a group of dancers ages 11-15; dancers also take ballet, jazz, lyrical and tap The biggest challenge or frustration I’m having with aerials right now: I have mixed levels in the class, some train outside of the class in acro skills and cheer, so sometimes things are taught slightly differently, I always emphasize that there are more than one way to do things and it's good to be versatile as dancers What I’m most excited to get out of this 30-Day Intensive: I am most excited about seeing progress in my dancers, whether they get theor aerials quickly, or in time, I h op eI can help those that are so close, overcome the missing piece.
📣 The 30-Day Aerials Intensive starts Thursday. Who’s in?
You asked, so we’re doing it. 💥 When I posted about aerials in here a while back, a lot of you put your hands up, and I’ve had messages ever since asking when it’s happening. The last time we did an aerials challenge together was back in 2021. It’s time. The 30-Day Aerials Intensive starts this Thursday, October 22. 💥🔥🤩 For 30 days, we’re working through the ADTA 4-Step System for teaching side aerials together, one step at a time. Here’s how it works: → A new lesson drops every Thursday. → You learn the step, then teach it in your own class that week. → You come back and tell us how it went: what worked, what didn’t, and what you saw. → You post your questions and student videos, so we all learn from what’s happening in real classes. Each lesson comes with clear instructions on how to run it in class, so you’ll know exactly what to do when you walk in. One thing up front: your students won’t have aerials in 30 days, and that’s not the goal. The goal is that you finish knowing exactly what to teach, in what order, and how to spot what’s going wrong. That’s what gets them there. More details are coming over the next few days. For now, I just want to know who’s in?! 💪🤓🤸‍♀️ 👇 Comment “I’m in” below, and tell me what's your biggest challenge or frustration with your aerials right now? See you Thursday! Miss Melissa
