U.S. Senate Has Introduced Two New Bills Regarding AI TECH
Just yesterday the U.S. Senate has two new proposed bills that will shape the future of Artificial Intelligence In the USA: 1) The 1st Mandates Disclosures Of Government US of AI, and creates an appeal system. 2) The 2nd Would Measure U.S. competitive development of several tech sectors including but not limited to Artificial Intelligence and Semiconductors. What do you guys think? Are these smart steps or a moral slide into 1984???

Nothing is moral anymore, there has to be a targeted political or economical gain. And, in case of semiconductor industry specifically it’s a matter of national security IMHO, and consequently AI.
Greeting Everyone
Hello everyone and thank you allowing me to be apart of a great community. I am new to AI and have been doing minor projects, and recently used AI to write a book. If anyone has suggestions on how use AI to monetizing my work please feel free explain. Looking forward to going much deeper into AI and learning from you all.

@Darren Breeden welcome to the pack! There are multiple prompt engineering sites that you can leverage. I believe I posted one on this group myself; you may reference that…but the good thing about what you’re looking for, is that there has been a huge focus on “writing” content creation with the inception of ChatGPT and hence you’ll find some pretty good prompts out there.

I believe it is a piece of technology that's ahead of its time, and hence the $3500 price tag! The tech stack, patents, use cases; warrants a daily use for work and leisure...it's a "wearable" personal computing device (it's not just a laptop/PC), that define a new category of technology...and, at this day and age; this is huge! I know that there are few products out there that individually can perform certain functions of the Vision Pro, but not all in one device with this power and the echo-system of apps Apple is known for. Having said that; I'm not a big fan although I'm a huge fan of Apple...reason being; it's prohibitively expensive for the mainstream (and, I'm sure this is by design as they want to profoundly state that it is not a VR, nor it is for everyone!...and I agree with @Peter Meng regarding the pricing/reduction history), but most importantly; I don't see myself, nor a lot of tech savvy users wearing the headset for few hours a day, everyday even if they can afford it!!! And, that's why I call it "ahead of its time"
AI defense memo goes wrong :)
A federal judge in Texas is now requiring lawyers in cases before him to certify that they did not use artificial intelligence to draft their filings without a human checking their accuracy https://www.reuters.com/legal/transactional/us-judge-orders-lawyers-sign-ai-pledge-warning-they-make-stuff-up-2023-05-31/?utm_source=the-ai-exchange&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=openai-chatgpt-existential-threats-we-re-still-early
