Boxing form into MIXED martial arts
Hello @Ibrahim Kari Ali i have a question that has me stuck atm. How would I be able to mold my boxing form into more of a mixed martial arts fighting style? I’m asking this because I’ve started my journey with boxing and often find it hard sometimes to switch into a mma fighting style. 🙏🏾

Great question brother 👍🏻 Most striking in MMA is actually boxing-based — your hands, footwork, and head movement are still the foundation. The difference is, you just need to adjust for kicks, knees, elbows, and takedowns. Keep your stance a bit wider and more balanced, use your hands actively instead of just a tight guard, and make your footwork shorter and sharper so you’re not open to leg kicks or shots. Think of your punches as the base that sets up everything else — kicks, clinch work, and level changes. Your boxing is your strength, it just needs to be plugged into the bigger MMA system. With time it’ll feel natural. Keep sharing your epic questions like that in here brother, we’ll all grow together.

Slipping Drill For Boxing 🥊
Hey brothers thought I’d share this clip from @Bilal Agha private lesson with me yesterday. It’s a great slipping drill that can be used for other combat sports not just boxing. I hope you guys can get some value out of it. :)
Lession Requst
Hi Kari I was requsting if you could make a lesson on self defence and fighting multiple attackers. P.S I have fought multiple attackers I believe the best thing you can do is oblique kick and keep the distance. But you know better so that's why I was wondering if you could make a lesson. Thanks

Hey brother. Your best bet for survival against multiple attackers is to have good enough cardio to run away, thats usually the first thing I say during my self defence workshops. If running is not an option u want to ideally use strikes that impact maximum damage with the lowest risk of injuring yourself or ending up on the ground: 1. Groin Kick has hard as you can 2. Downward Elbow Muay Thai Style 3. Grab the head and knee the face or groin 4. Back take into stand RNC and use whoever your choking out as a human shield. Again these are only to be used in a life or death situation are quite extreme examples, remember you don’t want to engage ideally as you never know what someone has in their pockets. 🔪

@Hussain Yawer your welcome, no I wouldn’t recommend those, I’d only use those 4 examples I listed earlier.
