"Art of Sliding Bench Training" Course released by next week..Ideally
Just giving you all heads up that I FINALLY am commencing recording "The Art of Sliding Bench Training" course (in about 20min) to be exact. Plan is to really just nail down everything as this week and hopefully release at least 1-3 modules, but possibly the whole thing by the end of next week. The goal is to ultimately summarize everything I've learned about these machines from why it's an ideal machine, to exercises, technique, progression, programming, and how workout design. Let me know if there's any other suggestions and things you want to see. I'll do my best to fit them in. After this is out possibly bands or the "hybrid system" will be next. Still haven't plugged this group (which probably isn't smart) but once that course is done, we'll hopefully have some company more company in here. Hope you all are doing well, Mike

Nice! Excited to see what you come up with! Probably a stupid question... Are you planning to make it so it is exclusive to a particular sliding bench like a Total Gym, or is it something that can be done on any sliding bench (i.e. something as basic as the Weider Ultimate BodyWorks)?
Honey, I Shrunk the Sliding Bench Trainer
Picked this thing last week after a couple of years of seeing it pop up online through various vendors (I think it's a white labeled product). I kind of knew it wouldn't work but, but I was hoping it would be the new "budget king" knockoff sliding bench trainer. It unfortunately is not! But honestly, it got me thinking. Even with something like this… a little janky, not perfect… I know I still can get a really solid workout on it with some adjustments and creativity. At the end of the day, if you can hit a few key movement patterns: - pushing - pulling - some type of squat or single leg work - and a couple isolation movement …you’re in a really good spot. That's one of the main things I try to drive home on the channel and hopefully over here A better setup, more equipment, nicer machines… all of that is awesome. But it’s mostly just icing on the cake. If you understand how to fine-tune exercises and can put together those basics, you can make almost anything work. Oftentimes it was the not so nice looking setups that I have the most fun on. If anything, thought you'd get a kick out of this thing.

I am out of northern New Jersey (USA). I'm here because I love exercising, and I'm always looking for new ways to push myself.
