I just landed my first barter collaborationnnnnnn
I just wanted to share this with everyone. It’s only been 15 days since I got into UGC. So far, I’ve made my portfolio, started applying to campaigns on platforms like Sideshift, and also began pitching on Reddit and Discord, along with sending a few emails to brands. I’m not going to sugarcoat it, after a week I started feeling really overwhelmed with all the pitching and applying. I had seen so many videos online where people said they landed their first paid deal within a month, some even within 15 days. And I kept comparing myself, thinking maybe I’m not doing enough or maybe I’m not made for this. Yesterday was honestly the toughest day. I cried a lot. But then I got up, stood in front of the mirror, and gave myself a reality check. I told myself - “you’ve just started, and you’re already giving up? You haven’t even given your 100% yet.” A friend once told me that your perspective matters a lot. If you keep thinking negatively, you’ll only notice negative outcomes. That stuck with me. So I shifted my mindset, even if it felt forced at first. And I kid you not by night, I landed my first-ever barter collaboration with a clothing brand. It’s not a big brand, more like a budding one, but for me, it’s everything right now. It gave me that push, that belief that if I can land this, a paid collaboration is just a matter of time. I’m sharing this just to say - don’t lose hope yet. It’s going to feel messy and overwhelming in the beginning, but something good can be right around the corner. Hang in there. 🤍

WOWWW amazing, congratulations to you!!
Feedback PLEASE
OK, I am working hard to improve my camera shyness and editing skills. You will not hurt my feelings so please, let me know the good, the bad, and the ugly (Nothing can be done about my appearance, so we can leave that alone! LOL🤣) This is only a sample video for my portfolio, but it still needs to be worthy to post it on there.

@Robert Pierce CONGRATS TO YOUUUU!! i am actually so proud of you because you finally shot your UGC DESPITE having that fear!! WOOOW I am beyond impressed. My first UGC was way worse than that, don't worry, skills come practice!! 🏆🔥🥰 just a few tips to make the whole UGC better: - about the editing part: cut the pauses between sentences - and as transitions between shots, use a clean cut and no fade to dark -> that way it's plain and simple that's it!! I mean, you ROCK IT!!! i am so happy for you that you can't imagine!! 🥲🥳 keep going!! 💖 can't wait to see your other UGC!!!
the day i started documenting my ugc journey publicly, my results doubled
there's a psychological principle called the Hawthorne Effect. Performance improves when someone is watching. When you know people are observing your process, you show up differently. You do the work you said you'd do because you said it in front of people. The external observation creates internal pressure. That pressure creates better output. The creators who grow fastest in this community aren't always the most talented. They're the most visible. They post their wins. They post their questions. They share the deals they're working on. They treat the community like a public accountability structure. And it compounds. Every post you share about your progress is a commitment you're now socially responsible for following through on. Every win you document makes the next attempt feel more real. Every question you ask in public gets answered and helps someone else who was too embarrassed to ask. This community exists for exactly this reason. Use it that way. Document what you're building. Post the first video. Post when you send your first pitch. Post when you land the first deal. The people watching aren't judging you. They're about three weeks behind you, waiting for the proof that it's real. Give it to them.

First UGC Video and Using AI
What do you guys think of my first UGC video? I want to try to utilize AI in most of mine because I hate getting ready for the camera.
