I dispute this entry under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681c-2), which states that information regarding a fully paid or settled repossession may not appear on a consumer report without the consumer’s explicit consent after being informed of their right to refuse. I did not provide such consent, nor was I informed of my right to refuse. I request that TransUnion investigate this matter immediately. If the repossession cannot be verified as accurate and compliant with the FCRA, I demand that it be permanently removed from my credit report.
