Glp 1 hair
So I’ve been on glp’s since Thanksgiving and I had such a solid curly hair routine for YEARS. I’ve been taking weem and pumpkin seed oil to stay on top of hair loss. I have all this new growth and they are frizzy nightmares. My currently routine is utterly failing and my hair has a crown of frizz within an hour of styling! Do I need to start all over with new products? My curls are now ending up frizzy and matted. I’ve ordered trial sizes of the innersense line to test out. Looking for any tips

Hi Meagan, this is something that should be discussed with your doctor. As a licensed cosmetologist, that is out of my scope of practice as it is a health issue more than it is non living tissue that I work with every day. To address your concerns though, it seems that whatever hair loss you had is now growing back as “the crown of frizz” or also called halo frizz. This is a good sign I presume since things are probably normalizing. You will have to have patience with allowing that hair to grow back out. As far as routine goes the only thing that could’ve changed from what I’m putting together is the hair density (how much hair you have) which shouldn’t change what products you use but maybe the amount of what you are using instead. The new growth just has to grow out, it can be tamed to an extent but if they are really short they will stick up. I like to do the routine as usual then take hairspray and put the frizzy flyaways down with the curl clumps as needed. It seems like taking those supplements helps your hair grow back and making sure you’re balanced in all other areas with your doctor to ensure the side effects of the glp1 aren’t as severe or even non existent
I’ve uploaded a few videos with tips on diffusing!

@Danielle Deutsch As far as seeing visible curl pattern goes, not all hair has visible curl until the scrunching part. The reason I brush/smooth is to create a clump of hair, not a curl. The scrunching activates it or enhances it more and added support by diffusing captures it in hopes that it sets that way. The product is somewhat important as it is the holder of whatever pattern is created in the hairs natural form. Some products are not as strong of a hold than others, which is to be tested by trial and error. Also, when it comes to hair style longevity, some hair has to be refreshed often to bring it back to life and some hair can be squished all night and revert in the morning with no effort. It is just the nature of the hair type. For you, I think misting the lightest layer of water over your hair and using a diffuser in the morning for 5-10 minutes should revive it a bit more. (I plan on adding more content on these topics when I have the opportunity to film them!) I think it is great that you are making an effort to practice because practice makes improvement little by little. I practiced for years to get the knowledge and skill I have today so don't be discouraged! Keep practicing!
Welcome new members!! 🙌
If anyone was having confusion about access to the group vs access to the class, I would like to clarify that the group access is free! The class has a one time payment and if you’ve received 2 charges, I have corrected this on my end! Everyone should have access to the class after MY approval. Please allow 24-48hrs for me to approve access. Excited for you to be here and start learning more about caring for your hair 😄 If you have any questions, please email [email protected]

I saw my natural curl pattern for the first time today!!
Thank you Eden for revealing my natural curl pattern today. I can’t believe this base style has been within reach all my life (almost 40 years) and I’ve been doing everything under the sun to keep it latent or dormant. Today is day 1 of a new routine establishing journey. Let’s see what the evening and then day 2 brings. ;-)
