@Alan Graf I’ve just dug my old gaming laptop out to see how it holds up with some games, it’s probably about 4/5 years old now but seems to be not too bad with the couple I’ve tried on it, tried CoD Warefare and Fortnite (always been a CoD fan, even though they tend to be the same year after year and the kids recently got me into Fortnite playing with them) so they’re a decent couple to start with…very popular! Also found a Mike and receiver I had, Rode in fact so need to try that out, I have a larger Mike that I’ve never used so need to get those out the box and setup. Still need a decent capture card that I can use for both PC and console (we have Xbox X and also PlayStation 5 so would be nice to have setups that are interchangeable as it’s something I’d eventually like to involve the kids in and them have the knowledge to do these things too. As for YouTube content my first thoughts are gaming but time constraints are a factor there even with what I said above so I need a niche where I can create on the go and and do at any time and any place

@Alan Graf thanks for that. OBS does seem to keep popping up in anything I research. I’ll have a look at that channel and see if it stirs my imagination ☺️

@Heather Lippert Had to look it up, I recognise it but not sure I played on one. I did have the Binatone TV master though (had to look up that one as couldn’t remember the name 🫣🤣)

@Heather Lippert Wouldn’t surprise me if my mother still had the old console packed away somewhere, would be great to show the kids and have them appreciate the tech they have these days
