Challenge #1: The Hometown Tour! 🌍 For our very first challenge, let's go on an adventure! Your Prompt: If I visited your city for only 24 hours, what is the one place I must see that isn't a typical tourist trap? Tell us why it's special! Maybe it's a hidden cafe with the best pastries, a quirky independent bookstore, a park with an amazing view, or a local market that comes alive on weekends. We want to hear about the real, local gems! Here's how to participate: • Record a 30 to 60-second audio or video clip (better) telling us about your chosen spot. Ps: Don't sweat the clock—if you get carried away because you love the topic, feel free to go longer! I'll kick things off with my own answer shortly! Can't wait to hear where you'll take us! Shout-out to my dear and brew-lliant friend @Gulistan Asan for this awesome idea: - feel free to attach a photo of your spot along with your clip! It’ll be great to actually see where you’re talking about. Let's speak up! 🚀

@Alex Understated Sounds great! I'm a big fan of kayaking and camping too🤩
Be aware of yourself
I came across a sentence today from Woolf's "The Common Reader: Montaigne.” I want to share with you! 😃 The man who is aware of himself is henceforward independent; and he is never bored, and life is only too short, and he is steeped through and through with a profound yet temperate happiness.
Be aware of yourself

@Soooda Feng Spelling doesn’t matter! Rocky, Ricky, Rickey, Rickie, Rykey — anything is fine🤗 But please use "Rickey" for now. I appreciate it!! (My real name 亮 Ryo - always confuses coaches🤯)

@Soooda Feng I know this character can be read as "Liang"!! But in Japanese, it can't. You can only read it as "Ryo", but it's not English R. Your tongue should touch the roof of your mouth, like dark L — but very lightly and very quickly. So, it’s closer to ‘lyo’ than ‘ryo’, but softer than L. When Jerry says “Uncle Leo~,” it feels like he’s calling my name😄
The Values of the Olympic Games
Yesterday was the opening ceremony of the XXV Olympic Winter Games. Besides amazing artists like Mariah Carey, Andrea Bocelli, Laura Pausini, Ghali, Lang Lang, Cecilia Bartoli, Sabrina Impacciatore, ... it was a very impressive and moving ceremony. I took some photos of it on my TV. Or here are a few links: https://www.olympics.com/en/milano-cortina-2026/videos/opening-ceremony-ceremonies-milano-cortina-2026 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJDg7exbRAE I especially like the core values of the Olympic Games: * Excellence (peak performance) * Friendship (international understanding) * Respect (respect for human dignity) A bit like LME. We do our best in learning Finding friends in the community. And of course, we respect each other Are you watching the Games, or is it not for you? There are so many sports (including new ones like ski mountaineering, sounds interesting 😅) ...and of course I'm also looking forward to the Super Bowl tomorrow. 🤣 Big hugs, Ralph
