An Invitation to Collaborate & Strengthen Our Witness for Christ
Dear Christian Leader, Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My name is Ed McClements, and I am writing to you today both to commend the faithful work you are doing through your Skool community and to humbly share a vision God has placed on my heart for collaboration. Allow me to share a brief piece of my story to explain my heart behind this message. I was raised in a devout Catholic home, an altar boy who loved the traditions and teachings of the Church. For the first 40 years of my life, my faith was in the institution and the ritual. Then, on a single, profound day in Laguna Beach, God pursued me relentlessly. Through three separate, unconnected individuals who each told me, "Jesus loves you," in their own way, the truth of a personal relationship with Christ broke through. I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior on a park bench, tears streaming down my face. Everything changed. I learned that while corporate worship is vital, it must be built on the foundation of that personal chair—where it's just you and Jesus. Shortly after this transformation, God gave me a unique calling: to help bring different churches together. I volunteered to organize a nearly canceled Easter Sunrise Service in Laguna, uniting four very different churches. As I watched them worship—some kneeling, some with hands raised, all in earnest—I saw the beautiful, varied tapestry of the Body of Christ. I realized God delights in our diverse expressions of love for Him, unified by one truth: Jesus Christ is Lord. From that day, for over 30 years now, my family and I have been blessed to facilitate Easter Sunrise Services, a yearly reminder that we are stronger together. This brings me to why I’m writing to you. On Skool, I see many wonderful, Spirit-led communities like yours, each with a unique calling. Yet, I felt a nudge to create a space not for competition, but for collaboration. This is why I am pre-launching "His Community". The vision is simple: to be a hub where Christian community leaders and members can share ideas, resources, and support to amplify our collective work for the Kingdom. This is a ministry of service, born from my story and my God-given skills in marketing and business.
