New to group/ Beautiful sounding tape echo
Hello all! I’m excited to grow as a musician with you all! Just got this new toy in the mail today. Can’t wait to use it. Its a “digital” tape echo pedal that is very convincing for you audiophiles. Hermanos Gutirerrez credit the galloping echo sound to this pedal.

Mighty El Cap gets a lot of love here :) It´s one of my "always on" pedals. Just a small note: the El Cap is digital.. but it´s sounds really warm and organic! Have fun Joe and welcome to the guitarwavers 🏄♂️🎶

@Joe Cabrera I guess the 60 cycle hum comes from the powering or the pickups. Do you use isolated power- outputs like the ones from Cioks? They are really good. I also got a little 60 cycle hum from the P90s.. but the El Cap itself should be totally quiet...

pretty simple: I thought, since most of us release music on fridays, under this category we can drop all new releases, and I'll add them to my guitarwave playlist (which rn is only electric guitar … maybe I should start a new one for both/all) 🦦

Paul Davids Nucleo Pedal
I don't know about you guys, but I haven't really used pedals at all in my process yet (except the occasional looping session - but nothing quite as @Sebastian Henkelmann for example). but this pedal is really testing me 🥲 it sounds freaking incredible and has so many features that would lend themselves really well for live playing imo - like for example the freeze button. what do you guys think of it? is anybody else thinking of getting it? and what are your fav pedals atm if you use any?

Hi guys, great to be here! Looking forward to getting to know you and exchanging ideas, experiences and the love for making guitar based music :) I´m Sebastian (more often called "Sebi" than "Basti"), 41 years old and living in Hamburg with my wife. I am a teacher who teaches grades 5-10 (sek I). My subjects are German, Technology and Economics/Politics. Before I started teaching I played in a HC band called Escapado for ten years which was big fun (most of the time;). During this time we released 3 albums and played over 250 concerts. Like some of you, I started writing and recording songs again during the COVID-19 pandemic, this time alone by myself and exclusively instrumental guitar music. After a few detours, I've been a member of the Sky Valley family since the beginning of the year, which is awesome! And since last week I´m also a part of the new founded guitarwavers ;) 🏄♂️🎶 A few fun facts at the end: - I used to hate clean guitar sounds and digital equipment... today both are the basis of my work. - I have a sweet spot for vintage watches. - Schalke 04 will be my club forever, but I try not to be too much of a football idiot haha... btw. when two other teams play agains each other, I always support the weaker ;) My guitar is a lefty Girault California Custom. Tony built this guitar for me a few years ago, which I´m grateful for because as a left-handed person it´s not that easy to find a guitar that really suits you (right, @Sebastian Jautschus ??). The shaping of the body has a so called "German carve" which I absolutely adore.
