BOOK BUDDIES & REVIEWS
To help you on your profitable book journey, Abbie has put in place a Book Buddies and a Review system. BOOK BUDDIES. If you would like to have someone to be your friend, support you, be your accountability and your biggest cheerleader, then you need a book buddy in your life. REVIEWS. You can get genuine reviews by sharing your book link with other book buddies which will help to boost your sales. How does it work? 1. If you want a book buddy, go to the first tab in Google sheet (see link at the bottom) and add your name on the vertical and horizontal line. Send me a DM with your timezone and I will pair you up with someone in a similar timezone. I will message you back to let you know who you have been paired up with as well as highlighting it on the sheet. 2. If you want reviews, go to the last tab in Google sheet (see link at the bottom) and add your name on the vertical line. Then add in your book links so that other book bosses can see your books. 3. To show that you are reviewing others, go to the middle tab in Google sheet (see link at the bottom) and add your name on the vertical and horizontal line. Every time you review a member's book, please place a 1 in the intersected box (reviewers are in pink and authors are in blue) and if you review more than one book from the same person, just up it by 1 each time. This will show who is reviewing whose book. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LoMsqj20s-BflAPDhjNbMf01YyD8DuiB/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=115250182263554667480&rtpof=true&sd=true And if you get stuck, just send me a message 😊 I don’t always get notifications of new comments, so DMs are best.

Colouring Book Cover

ChatGPT says: ⭐ What’s Working Well: 1. Clear Theme & Audience:The title "Inspirational Images of JESUS" instantly communicates what the book is and who it’s for. Paired with "Adult Coloring Book," it sets the right expectation. 2. Clean, Calming Layout:The soft pink background and gentle gradient suit the spiritual and meditative tone. It feels peaceful and reverent—good fit for a faith-based product. 3. Illustration Choice:The line art of Jesus is well-suited for coloring, with enough detail to be engaging but not overwhelming. The radiating lines help draw attention. 4. Back Cover Description:The blurb is thoughtful and aligned with the book’s purpose. It reinforces the emotional and spiritual benefits without overpromising. šŸ›  Suggestions for Improvement: 1. Front Cover Visual Balance:The title feels a bit top-heavy—there’s empty space under the illustration that could be better utilized. Consider: - Enlarging the illustration slightly - Adding a small subtitle or decorative element below the title/above the image to rebalance 2. Title Font:While clean, the serif font used is very standard. You might elevate the design by choosing a serif with more character (e.g., something biblical or vintage in tone) to make it more distinctive. 3. Spine Area:The central pink strip (representing the spine) is a bit plain. Even a small title or author name vertically placed would add polish and help on a physical print. 4. Author Name Readability:ā€œSusie antara jamesā€ has a beautiful signature-style font, but it’s a little hard to read at a glance. Consider slightly increasing the size or contrast for accessibility. āœ… Final Thoughts: Overall, this is a solid and thoughtful cover—clean, on-brand, and appropriate for its market. With just a few small tweaks, you could elevate it to a more polished, professional level, especially for the KDP marketplace. I think he(she) has a few good suggestions in there. Take what is useful - ignore the rest, thats what i do ;-) I hope it helps.

@Niki Duffy Yes, it is actually very good at image analysis. Pair that with a large knowledge of design principles, and Chatty is quite good at the task! Although, never trust the robots 100% ;-)
Augusts Goals

Wow, thats quite the goal! I prefer to keep the stress off, so I will be happy with however many I managed to get done. (But I would fully expect at least 6 in the next 25 days or so) ;-)

@Abbie Cornall So far, made zero 'real' progress though, only some drafts and rough outlines. ;-(
