Lu from Phillyyyy
Hi I'm Lu! I'm based in Philly and I've been producing and writing songs for about 14 years now. I've been relatively successful at growing my project, but I think now I'm trying to develop a healthier workflow and relationship to releasing my work. Stoked to learn more here <3

Cheers, Hi there Lu, welcome to the community)
Why Bitwig's New Drum Machines are a Game Changer
In today's video, I dive into the drum machines included in the 5.3 Beta version of Bitwig Studio, focusing on the recently added key tracking feature, which allows for more dynamic and varied drum patterns by playing the drum sounds up and down the keyboard. I cover the different drum machines available in Bitwig, such as V0, V1, V8, and V9, and I demonstrate how to create a drum groove from scratch using these instruments. I also dive into the use of the Freq Shifter + effect and various techniques to add complexity and variation to the drum patterns, including using LFOs, step sequencers, and parameter modulation. The tutorial is detailed and aimed at users who want to get the most out of the new features in Bitwig 5.3 Beta 3. Download the project file here 📁

@Lex Christopherson Thanks, it was cool, I've shared the meals with the loved ones, and wrote some music.

I'm using Bitwig. Originally because it works on Linux. The choice was made back in 2019. But for now on pc (for the sake of vsts) I just like how it works and it's the best looking one to my taste. UI look and feel is also important to me, because I feel like bitwig inspires me to be creative. Also I like stability of it and some randomness features, and being able to modulate anything. I often use LFOs and step-sequencer modulators. I was forced to use Ableton on one musical course. Did one track with it. I like how cool built in plugins for Ableton are. But it crashed so often, once even with non-recoverable project. I like Bitwig much better in this regard.

Also sometimes I use the Reaper for editing multi-mic'ed recordings. Because reaper does it right and bitwig feels not so good at it comparing to reaper.
I got a song made; need/want feedback
Hey all, it's been a while since I have posted or mentioned anything in this community. I've been going through some changes on a personal level that have been challenging (to say the least). Anyway, I have made a track recently that I have been sitting on and I have been nervous to share with everyone. If anyone can give me some feedback that would be much appreciated. I feel like there is something missing here. But that could be my own personal bias. https://soundcloud.com/sachin-arora-16/mr-fantastic-the-dixie-chords

mr sandman bring me a dream) Nice remix, I think that drums should start earlier (with the bass). And it would be great to have an alternative theme for melody. For now there is only one and it starts to sound repetitive. It would be great to change once in while to smth else. Otherwise I like the mood and drums, it is be a good beat for somebody to rap over.
