@Elaine Spencer same. I actually feel frustrated with AI because I am spending all this time writing from my brain while there are people just using AI to completely write a book then claiming it as their own to get paid and recognized. I don’t understand how plagiarism is just not a thing anymore? It honestly makes me furious when I think about it. I feel like I’m the only one who feels this way… I use it like you do - for clarity and so maybe help a sentence sound more grammatically correct for editing purposes, etc

@Sierra Melcher interesting that you say this because I was thinking about this with things like the publishing.ai company I see online. If we share our writings with people or AI then couldn’t AI save our information and use it with other people? I also feel that aside from grammar and wording help, if we use AI to write then really it’s not our authorship…. So many people have AI write something and then put themselves as the author. It doesn’t make sense in my head but that’s just my own opinion 🤷🏼‍♀️

I finished my chapter for MENtal on Friday night! WOOHOO!! I am just waiting on access to the Google form and some questions to fully upload it and my bio but the writing at least is all ready!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Today I am working on final edits to my solo book so that I can get it uploaded and published by 7/20

Honestly… my best writing comes from being in certain places while doing so. I journal when I’m in Adoration (I’m Catholic) or when I’m at the lake I grew up at. Some of my best work ends up being pulled from journals, old social media posts, or blog posts. Then I just organize, edit, rephrase, rewrite…
