Just a little bit about me. I'm Ama which is a traditional Ghanaian female name which means "born on a Saturday"....part of my culture is that you are given a name for the day of the week you are born.🙂 Thank you @Terence James for the insight on my surname. Yes I have been told that it means "thank you" in Swahili.🙏I was born in Ghana, but my parents immigrated to the UK when I was very young and that's where I grew up. I am a mum and have worked in both the public and private sector doing corporate roles. I'm at that beautifully youthful age in life where I have come to realise that the true value in life is having autonomy to live life on my own terms — because as the saying goes, life is too short and we don’t know how long we have. I'm super excited and thrilled to be here. Thank you Leeanne for the invitation. I hope to learn and grow in this group as well as add value.😄
