In writing this community's new description I am trying to convey (without being condescending) that we teachers/school admins can do a better job of: 1. Not leading our students/schools with the power of our "Position" or "Academic Degrees", and superior knowledge, or stifling rules and regulations BUT 2. leading with dedication to personal growth towards increased character, congruency, humility, Truly listening to others (without the need to respond) and courage to make difficult decisions. With those things in mind (and please feel free to comment on my "theory" above if I am off base) how would you adjust the following new community description. There are no wrong answers/and nothing will be taken as negative criticism (I hope I can rise to that level:)) Here is my new community description: Eng: Inspire your students to find their true purpose by becoming the teacher who shows how to grow in character, empathy and congruence. Spa: Inspira a tus alumnos a encontrar su verdadero propósito convirtiéndote en el maestro que les muestra cómo crecer en carácter, empatía y congruencia.

Hey all, Just giving you a heads up that this group will move more towards "educators" (which we all are). Hence you are going to see changes. Also, ahead of what I expect will be a multi-language interface for Skool (they have been talking about different languages for a little while now). I am moving this space back to Spanish as the educators I hope to influence are here in South America, Chile to start off with. So, while Skool is still figuring out how to make these pages multi-lingual, those that don't speak Spanish, I am sorry, but you can do a bit of "lurking" and can always write in the chat to me in English, or post a question for the group in English and I can translate it. Also, if you are "desperate" to read all the posts here you can use "deepl.com". It is fast and easy for translations. Thanks for all your support, and don't feel you have to leave if your Spanish isn't "fantastico".

Wanting to retire early is a goal for many. I used to want that. Now I don't want to retire, because I see too value I can give. What do you think about your retirement? What is your plan?
