50,000 newsletters making ZERO dollars?
I was poking around a newsletter called every.to the other day… And I noticed something I'm seeing more and more. They charge $30 a month for their paid tier. But here's the thing about their paid plan… It's not JUST articles. They bundle in 4 AI tools. Writing tool. Email tool. File organizer. Voice dictation thing. Now… Are these tools some kind of revolutionary breakthrough? Not really. I've seen plenty of similar tools out there on the interwebs. But... They're just genuinely USEFUL to the people who read that newsletter. (Crazy concept, right?) If even 5% of their 100K+ subscribers are on their paid plan like me... That's $150K/month in revenue for them! And I got curious… How many newsletter creators out there would LOVE to have a reason for people to upgrade to paid? So I went looking. Substack alone has over 75,000 newsletters. Only about 27,000 of them even HAVE a paid option. Which means roughly 50,000 newsletter creators are building audiences... And making exactly ZERO from their subscribers! Sure, the smart ones MIGHT slip an ad or two in on occasion. But... 👉 Do you think ONE of those 50k newsletters might be interested if you showed up with tools that served their audience and offered to work out a deal? I'm gonna take a wild guess and say YES. AND… You don't need to land some huge partnership here. What if each deal only paid you $500 a month? Or $1,000? Then you turned around and rented that same tool out to another newsletter owner. Stack three of those up and suddenly you've got consistent royalty checks coming in from tools you built ONCE. The newsletter creator gets something valuable to offer their audience. You get paid every month whether you're working or not. I've seen this work myself. And newsletters are just ONE place you could run this play. Now… Here's where most people screw this up. They learn how to BUILD the tools… Then sit there with their thumb up their hindparts wondering why nobody's paying them.

@Steve Pritchard I've used tools like Reletter in the past but haven't gotten the best results. Now I'm testing a few different things. One is trying out some of the "influencer search" tools. Looks like Favikon is able to search for Substack newsletters, but I can't vouch for that one yet. The other that I'm hearing people having good success with is using Manus to go out and do the research for them. I'm trying a quick one on that as we speak (screenshot below) and I'm pretty happy with the results it spit out for me. It even validated them to see if they're active or haven't posted in awhile, so looks like a pretty promising way without having to do the legwork yourself.

@Basel Hakim The simplest way I've done is host on Pickaxe and put them on iframe page that only subscribers have access to.
Live auctions in eBay
I'm probably the last person to spot this, but if you ever needed further validation about how powerful auctions are (as taught by @Travis Sago), people are doing this live on ebay! This guy (pictured) currently has 53 people on there bidding for Pokemon cards.

It's crazy how much people are sleeping on it! I've been seeing a lot about Whatnot.com recently too, and they've got dozens of people putting in bids on everything from dog food to disc golf on there.
More AI income deals than we can handle?
How to land more AI income deals than we can shake a stick at... Jason here. This weekend, my parents took my kids to Fleet Farm for a candy and snack sampling event. (If you’re not from the midwest, just imagine a giant “man mall” where you can buy anything from groceries to camping equipment.) They had a kids’ candy and snack sampling station set up with Dixie Cups packed with every sweet and crunchy thing you can imagine. My kids came home absolutely wired, clutching a giant Nerf gun and a bag full of clicking trinket toys like they’d just raided a treasure chest. And now as I try not to eat an entire bag of strawberry shortcake cookie bites, I keep thinking about what Fleet Farm actually pulled off. They didn’t run ads screaming “BUY OUR STUFF.” They didn’t pitch anyone. They let people try it in the most low-pressure, fun, and generous way possible. Kids tried things. Kids loved things. And grandparents ended up walking out with Nerf guns and trinkets without ever feeling sold to. This ties in DIRECTLY with how we can land MORE AI partnership deals than we can handle! When you remove the friction, lead with value, and make the experience enjoyable, people naturally want more. Rockstars that understand this will land more deals, more customers, and more partnerships than they know what to do with. I'll be reaching out to more peeps who voted in the last poll on The AI Royalty Machine... We'll be kickin' off next week to start the fun creating more AI income deals together. 👉 If you didn't already place your vote, give this link a tap. In Your Corner, Jason

More AI income deals than we can handle?
The AI Royalty Machine
I didn't expect 50+ of you to raise your hand on those polls. I figured maybe 15? So either I'm terrible at predicting things... (Confirmed. Ask me about my track record for March Madness!) OR... EZ A.I. Income is something that people actually want. Here's what we're putting together... A small group. We all build an AI tool TOGETHER. We find partners TOGETHER. We launch TOGETHER. Not a course. Not a replay library. Not a "community" where everyone reads and nobody does anything. (This WILL be a "get your rear in gear" party where we get things DONE!) This is a BUILD TOGETHER situation. Show up. Build something. Ship it. See what happens. I'm locking down the details this week. If you raised your hand already — you're on the list. If you missed it and want in... Drop your favorite meme below before I stop paying attention. 😂

AI Income Stacking
I've got an income stream paying me ~$500/month (on average) that I haven't touched in months... I didn't build an audience for it, didn't create a course, didn't launch anything. 👉 I built a simple tool with AI 👉 I showed it to one person who already had the followers 👉 We split the revenue. I did the work once. Money's been coming in WITHOUT me touching it ever since! Now, I know $500 ain't what it used to be... BUT… Because it doesn't require my sweat or my hours... I've got MORE of these income streams stacking up! And the math starts getting interesting when you start STACKING them together. 👉 Any interest in stacking AI income with us in 2026?
