My assistant 🥰
I’ve had a sleepy helper recently. More desk work means more Hattie time by my side. Love this girl. And even though you see her resting here, this only lasts until it’s time for an out, a walk, a meal. It’s healthy for me bc then I take breaks! My glimmer girl 😍

How wonderful. 😍✨🌟✨ I had Butcher Bird and Heron this morning.
I need your brain 😬
Okay folks, I need your brains on this one please! 🧠✨ I’m currently redesigning the PAWS classroom and rebuilding the materials from scratch, and I’d love your input on something. The original PAWS method was: P — Present Moment A — Appreciation W — Wonder S — Share Originally, Appreciation was intended to be more than simply noticing something we appreciate and expand with it. It was also about staying with it for a moment and really taking it in. Then @Melanie Sweeney beautifully brought up the idea of savouring, and now I’m wondering where it most naturally belongs in the PAWS process. So, which feels more intuitive and potent to you? Option 1: A — Appreciate in a savouring way You notice what you appreciate and consciously linger with it, letting the moment really land. Option 2: S — Savour (before it was Share) You move through Present Moment → Appreciation → Wonder, and then finish by savouring and/or sharing the experience. I quite like the idea of savouring coming at the end, almost like tying a bow around the little gift you’ve just given yourself. 🎁 But I’m curious about what feels most natural to YOU when you actually imagine using PAWS in everyday life. Where would you put Savour? Is it more important than Sharing? Because I could also just make the S- Savour instead of Share? I also was really taken in what @Jane Purdon shared with us in a thread. I don't want that people feel pressure to share constantly on social media. It was encouraged during the 28 day challenge to build a habit (which Jane clearly beautifully did and inspired many of us) and now its finding a way to live and integrate it. The sharing aspect is more to put high vibes into the world, and as a community we use the science of capatalisation (we enhance it and witness it) and then these experiences become contagious and it spreads. So I do like that aspect. But I don't want that people feel obligated to do it.

@Marcia Davey I've also always thought of the first P as Pause! And I like 'Pause in the Present Moment' 👍🏻👌🏻 And I too thought that perhaps the S could work as 'Savour and Share'. I think in one of the previous iterations @Birdy O'Sheedy had the S as 'Soften and Share'? So wondered if it could work now with Savour swapped in for Soften.

@Kirsty McCallum Yeah Kirsty, that's similar to how I feel about it. To me, the PAWS moment is complete without sharing it outside of whoever was actually in that particular moment/experience. I see the Share as an optional extra, a bonus that expands the moment to others, potentially in powerful ways, but isn't necessarily essential. I don't resonate with the idea that the moment isn't complete until I've shared it.
Serendipitous dog art
I recently went to a local gallery where a dog trainer friend was exhibiting his sculptures, which he makes from reclaimed materials, mostly steel. One of his creations especially caught my eye because it immediately reminded me of Squeak, with the curled over tail, full of sass and spunk. Serendipitously, I had been gifted some birthday money that allowed me to put a red dot on the artwork, and on the weekend, when the exhibition finished, it came home with me. It makes me think of my Tiny Dancer every time I see it, and reminds me of how much I admire who she was.
