ONE LIFE. THIS WEEK. YOUR CHOICE. NOW.
Not when you've achieved everything, or when everything makes sense. Not when you finally become the person you think you're supposed to be. ❤️ Right NOW And here's what I want to invite you to explore this Monday: What is ONE thing you've been postponing that would make you feel more ALIVE? Not more productive --> MORE ALIVE 👉 moving your body 👉 calling somebody you love 👉 starting something you've been dreaming about 👉 or finally allowing yourself to enjoy what you've already created ‼️ Choose one thing (YOUR THING) Make space for it this week --> Your life deserves your participation. Welcome to MONDAY MOTIVATION Tell me: What's your ONE thing this week? 👇

Hello I’m Annmaria from New York. My body is telling me it feels trapped and is asking me to listen and take action with compassion, not judgment. 2 truths and a lie: I love rain, soup, and going to the gym. Win of the week: I joined this lovely group and began my Jaw Journey❤️

@Zina Zinchenko thank you Zina! I am glad you included journaling as part of the Jaw Journey, I am so surprised by the discoveries I am making. I do love soup, can’t stand a gym!
LABEL MATTER?
LABEL help us communicate, diagnoses can bring enormous relief, guide treatment, and help people find others with similar experiences. Job titles, identities, and communities give us a sense of belonging. --> The problem isn't the label- the problem is when we stop seeing ourselves beyond it. When "I have ADHD" quietly becomes "I can't change." When "I'm anxious" becomes "This is who I am." When "I'm the strong one" means you never ask for help. Research suggests labels can shape how we see ourselves and how others respond to us. They can reduce confusion and increase support, but they can also contribute to stigma or a more fixed sense of identity if we allow the label to define our entire story. At BODY_KNOWS_, I believe awareness comes before identity. Notice your patterns. Understand your diagnosis. Honor your experience. But remember: You are always more than the words used to describe you. Your body is still learning. Your brain is still changing. And your story is still being written.

This resonates deeply with me, in ways I don’t (yet?) understand enough to describe
