A volume mousse as a pre styler, a clay or paste as a main styler and a hairspray to lock your style in for the whole day will be perfect for you. Best volume mousses are giovanni2chic, wella shockwaves and morrcanoil, best pastes are murdock, dapper dan, forte series, Johnny's chopshop and got2b, best clays are hanz de fuko, uppercut, bluuman, forte series and got2b and the best hairsprays are got2b glued, got2b phenomenal and wella shockwaves
Shapeshift
Its been around 4 months and a half since i joined. Thanks to you all i started taking care of my hair and overall hygiene way more, so thanks. Here are pictures of since when i joined and now, its night and day. I plan on growing it out a lot longer tho, like double or triple the length so its a long journey.

Flow with a fade or no fade
As you know I have 2C hair and I’m trying to get the flow and I’m not sure whether it will look good with a a type of fade or not faded at all And if it’s good with a fade which ones recommended I currently have a low drop fade Let me know which one I should get I am growing the back out Here’s some images:

Id go for the fade here. With your hair type you can especially pull it off and with that it creates like clean, sharp look. There's nothing wrong with not getting a fade and letting it grow out because im sure that'll look solid as well but if you had to choose, id 100% go for the fade with a flow.
Greasy hair
How do i tell of my hair is greasy? I have 1c hair with good density but the individual hair strands are fine. how often should i schampoo?

It all depends on how quickly it takes your hair to get greasy. If your hair appears slightly wet and when you touch your hair or scalp thats when you know your hair is greasy. If your hair gets greasy quickly then get something like a volumising shampoo or a clarifying shampoo or if your hair gets oily less often then something like a hydrating shampoo will do the job.
