What programs do I need to learn?
General question, but what programs are out there that I should know inside and out to help me better perform corporate responsibilities. I’m Sure different companies use different platforms but things like Microsoft PowerPoint/xcel etc.

Hey Jesse! I definitely agree with everything you said. Honestly, it depends on what you want to focus on, but there are a few programs that almost everyone in a corporate job should feel comfortable with. PowerPoint is a big one — not just knowing the buttons, but actually knowing how to tell a story with your slides. Excel is another must-have. You don’t need to be a data analyst, but knowing basic formulas, how to clean data, and how to pull quick insights will help you in almost any role. If you really want to level up, understanding how Microsoft tools connect to each other opens the door to Power Automate, which can save you a ton of time by automating little processes. And taking Excel a step further, Power BI is great for turning data into dashboards and visuals that make sense. Even Outlook has small tricks that matter — like recalling an email (which has saved me more than once), organizing your inbox, and actually using the calendar features. And honestly, the most useful ā€œtoolā€ right now is AI. You can literally ask it to teach you formulas, build templates, walk you through workflows, or help you practice these skills. It makes learning all of this so much easier.
