@Eva W Madhavan BAMS is Now a Valid License: You can practice in the EU based on your Indian degree. You no longer need to strip your "Doctor" title or work as a "naturopath" (Heilpraktiker) to work legally. Insurance Can Pay You: Because WHO now has disease codes for Ayurveda (ICD-11 Module 2), European health insurers can potentially cover your treatments. This creates jobs in mainstream clinics, not just luxury spas. Easier Work Visas: The trade deal specifically lists "AYUSH professionals" for easier entry. You now qualify for "Skilled Worker" visas rather than vague "wellness staff" categories. Clinical vs. Recreational: Your career track shifts from Tourism (massages/relaxation) to Healthcare (treating chronic diseases like diabetes or arthritis), which pays significantly better.
