A lot of you expressed interest in my new Claude AI tool, and if you didn't see the post of me showcasing it, you can watch it here: https://www.skool.com/asterisk-create/ive-been-working-on-something-big?p=39a6a61d As I'm writing this, I'm currently getting the automation tool set up for a select number of you to test it out in the beta version. Keep in mind, this will be an ongoing learning process of testing & iterating the tool until it is easy for everyone to use, so your constant feedback will be extremely helpful. The setup will require a few things from you if you want to try it: 1. You need an Anthropic PAID account. This runs for about $20/mo for US users. 2. You need a GitHub Account (Free) That's it. Even though this tool is used through the terminal of your computer, you DO NOT need to know how to code to use this tool. Thats why it's built with Claude Code, the only thing you need to do is talk to Claude Code, and it will take care of the rest. The setup process is probably a 15-20 minute process. Once it's done, you never have to do it again. It's a brain that will just learn along with you as you give it ideas, make content, and tell it what works and what doesn't. Like this post if you are interested in being a participant in the beta launch of this! I will post more info as we start rolling this out for you to use. xoxo, jordan

Shiprocked 2026
(Honestly, not sure if this is more General Discussion or Content Feedback, but I'm mostly looking to share what this job is like as well as feedback from my editors in here). I just got home after a hellish 30 hours of travel home during this east coast snow storm from Miami to Charlotte. I ended up working for 3 bands on the 6-Day Shiprocked Cruise (UnityTX, Not Enough Space, and Zero 9:36) My main band was UnityTX and here were the deliverables/expectations for each artist: UnityTX - Daily 60s Vertical Reel, BTS Coverage "as-possible", 2x Live Set Photo+Video Coverage, Meet & Greet Coverage, Long-Form Vlog Style Landscape Recap Not Enough Space - BTS Coverage "as-possible" , 2x Live Set Photo+Video Coverage, Meet & Greet Coverage, a handful of Live Clips, 1 Full 60s Recap (BTS + 2 Shows) Zero 9:36 - 1x Live Set Photo+Video Coverage, 4x Guest Vocal Live Landscape Clips For UnityTX, I delivered around 100 Images in total, and we are breaking the YouTube video into Daily Landscape Reels to manage the workload on me, here is "Shiprocced w/ UnityTX Ep. 1" https://drive.google.com/file/d/161QABhWfQE3BWNjJig-OmztdlyyFryd1/view?usp=drive_link For Zero 9:36 it was 34 photos, everything was delivered within 24 hours of us disembarking, I edited 80% in an airport chair and 20% in a hotel room (no mouse or keyboard) Here is the recap with Zero and then a Guest Feature Clip https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IyBm5V_IHCVx9e91h0XaT5T_ryWZHjZy/view?usp=drive_link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YQFv4ou34JaCr75e9ppBJZHoaxgkwlKF/view?usp=drive_link For Not Enough Space it was 108 Images, I am currently 60% finished with their recap as I type this, hoping to read some feedback before I finalize tomorrow :))

@Jordan Watkins I appreciate the kind words & I respect that the content itself isn’t in your lane enough for critical critique. Unfortunately this gig was on the lower-paying side, any “fun gig” (like a cruise, or a one-off in Hawaii) is going to generally pay less than a touring rate unless you’re with one of the 4-6 highest billed bands, but being on the ocean for 6 days with half of “my genres music industry” I used it as an opportunity to push my name and work out to 3x as many bands. Aside from the fact every band is branded differently, thats another reason I did different content for each artist, show everyone at once all of my cards so when they go to hire for the summer next month they’re hopefully thinking of me

@Cole Kieffer That has definitely been one of the hardest things I’ve found- crafting an offer- All of my jobs since my first tour in 2024 have been via direct recommendation by: Current or Former Crew Member, Current Band Member and Current MGMT for the camp I’m trying to go on tour with With tours its hard because they’re 100% private until they’re announced, unless you’re part of it, which means the only way to get that info is to be fresh on everyones mind so while I can’t time the exact hiring periods I know the rough months when things are getting put together at this point then I can go around my circle seeing what everyone is planning Getting an offer out for gigs with lots of artists (Festivals, Cruises, etc) is a little more consistent once one band has agreed to handle my travel and lodging you can get booked with your 2nd, 3rd, 4th band much easier Once I get a gig that gives me access to others like that I generally start with my warmest leads (artists I’ve worked with) down to cooler leads (artists I have mutual friends with) down to my cold approaches I definitely need to craft a base offer I can customize and send out for these things I think you’re right if I can smooth out that part of the process I can lock in more clients long term

I've been working on something big...
Hi guys, I've been working on something big in the background, and I haven't really talked about it yet because I'm not really sure how to go around explaining this system in the right way. I want your honest feedback and to figure out a way, if there is a way, that I could maybe implement these tools and these features for you guys. Let me know what you think. xoxo, jordan

Genius and a potential game-changer
Happy Monday: What are you working on?
Happy Monday everyone! I know it's the holidays, but just curious if some of you guys are working on any projects or anything that you want feedback on. I'll be spending most of the day creating some cool assets for Asterisk Create and producing content. If you'd like any advice or feedback on the content you're working on, please comment below, and I'll review it!

Prepping for another gig next week I'm heading out on the Shiprocked Cruise with UnityTX and Not Enough Space, hoping to also shoot for From Ashes To New, Wage War and Sleep Theory but still have to finalize those 3. If I get all 5 bands its going to be the busiest 6 days of my life haha. I'll be focused primarily on BTS content with UnityTX, vlog-style recaps each day that will be turned into a super-cut at the end for their YouTube channel. The other 1-4 bands will be standard live show recaps, easy enough to bang out but being in the middle of the ocean on a cruise ship means I have to download everyone's music, logos, etc. now while I have real wifi.
