Where is auto cut out
I'm having trouble finding auto cut out on the my desktop version of capcut. I'm using capcut pro and I'm guessing I have the most recent version. Where is the I've copied and selected the clip I want to cutout. I can not find that feature. Where is it ?

The auto cut out or auto background removal tool is a Pro feature and requires subscription The chroma key option is available in the free version

I upgraded CapCut to ver 5.2 beta today and now exports include a watermark. You get 3 free then need to pay to remove. I’m going back to the previous version which I kept so I don’t have to pay to remove the water mark

@Ken King I went back to v5.1.8 beta I think to avoid the watermark costs . We’re going to be forced into a subscription eventually. Any video project made in v5.2 isn’t backwards compatible either, trying to open a 5.2 project in 5.1.x forces you to click upgrade or force quit

Sharing channels?
Would it be a good idea to share our channel names so we know what kind of advice to give? Or is that unnecessary?

@Mike Conneen I would love to do this as my face and better b-roll but there are a few things working against me right now. 1. I’m still recovering from a very serious broken ankle and can’t get around very well. 2. It’s now winter here so getting b-roll footage of some of my bike parts isn’t an option. The b-roll footage I do have is from my GoPro but only POV , nothing trail side. I’m enjoying making the videos but understand that some people have issues with my AI character. Right now, I could care less. It is what it is.

@Mike Conneen I haven’t considered cap cut pro. I’ll check out what the subscription costs are, and decide from there. Thanks for the suggestion

Animate Image to Video
Hey all. I was looking for a way to animate a character in an image the other day and ran across Image2Video.ai. It was pretty cool. Not sure if CapCut can do this, at least not now. I've attached the still image and the video image. And there is a free plan to try it out. Best of all it's a one time payment and not a subscription.

@Sir Perfect Guru thanks Flynn. My channel is gear reviews, my mountain bike gear currently and recently changed formats to a simple pro / con. Keeping it concise. I’m a big fan of the older late night talk shows so it’s styled from that. Build with AI, from images to video and voices. ChatGPT does the heavy lifting on the scripts and learned CapCut from Trevor’s YT channel among others.
