Forest Coughtry is a Skooler who went on ONE podcast, which led to him gaining $7,000 in only a few weeks of being on Skool. He literally just messaged a podcast that he thought had an audience aligned with his offer. And it wasn't even an email...he left a YouTube comment 😆 BUT he framed it in a way that would benefit the podcast's audience. Also because AI guesting agencies are blasting emails to every podcast on Earth, most podcasters don’t even read pitch emails anymore. Befriending a podcast you want to guest on through social media...like LinkedIn or Instagram...or even leaving a YouTube comment like he did, is the new way to get booked. (Just thought I’d throw that tip in there!) IIf you want to listen to the episode that got him all these members, it was THIS EPISODE I've been in the podcast game a long long time and guesting is still a super under rated way to get new members. Today on Skool News, Sam mentioned the number 1 traffic source for Skoolers right now is Instagram and about all the winners use Manychat within Instagram. For those that don't know, it is an automation tool for Instagram that automatically sends messages when users comment with a specific keyword on posts, Reels, or Stories. Apparently it is really effective. I'd also like to welcome @Heston Roberts to the Lounge. He is a manychat expert! Who here has used Manychat before and what did you think?
