Week 1: God’s Love Is Initiating
This week we’re reflecting on a powerful truth: God moves first. Before we ever seek Him, understand Him, or respond to Him… His love is already reaching toward us. As Pastor Chris shared, we don’t initiate salvation or relationship with God. He does. Dear Lord I thank You that You are a protective Father, and because You are a protective Father I know that if there is any speech that is trying to rise up against me, You will silence it. Thank You that when it comes to my reputation I don't have to fight the battle on my own or try to prove myself to another. Instead I will keep my integrity intact, I will continue to move and operate in love because I know that at the end of the day You are for me. In the same breath, I ask that if the same mindset that came upon Aaron and Miriam tries to descend upon my mind that You would silence it. I choose to Live my life with honor, humility and holiness and because these are my pillars I will honor anyone in a position of power even when we don’t see eye to eye. Through this simple truth I know that when my time comes You will surround me with the right people who will honor my position and authority. I will not forget that honor is the key to elevation in Your kingdom... these truths I will hold near to my heart! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

God’s Love Is Initiating
Family, before you ever sought God, He was already seeking you. From the garden in Genesis to the cross of Christ, Scripture reveals a God who moves first. “But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 (HCSB) You are not chasing His approval. You are responding to His pursuit. This new study is going to ground you deeply in the truth that your walk with Jesus starts from love, not performance. Let this be the week you stop striving and start responding. Jump into Week 1 with an open heart and ask the Holy Spirit to show you where He has been initiating all along.
