Thank you everyone who joined us last night for our Last Week “Dinner & A Movie” “Movie Chew” Series for the month of July! Our Chew was the movie “Faith like Potatoes” 🥔 …We had a blast!!! This was a Powerful Table Talk of the story of a farmer named Angus, who moves his family from Zambia to South Africa to start building a life with limited resources. He and his family entered an unfamiliar season without clear evidence of success…..A True “FAITH JOURNEY” This depicts, the true meaning of FAITH! Hebrews 11:1 says … “now faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things not seen” QUESTIONS: How did this movie challenge maybe some shallow ideas about Faith? For this week - let’s do a “7 Day Potato 🥔 Faith Watch” (This will be a metaphor potato plant) - This will be fun! *Each day we will complete one action to grow our potato Faith and grow “Our Field” First - Place one potato (A real one) where you can see it daily during our exercise this week. This will just be a representation of “OUR FIELD” and the potato Faith we will need to grow it this week. TODAY IS DAY 1: Name the Field that God gave YOU! “YOUR FIELD” is what you are believing God for.
