Coming across the pond again this week!

Soooo… quick little life/work update from me because I’m still like whatttt is happening.... you literally couldn't write my life lately!!! Three weeks into my new role… THREE… and I’ve had an email today from one of the directors inviting me into a strategy meeting when I’m down in London at the end of the month. He said they can already see there’s more I can bring than they originally realised… so they want to sit down and talk about where my skills can add more value and what that looks like in terms of my role (and salary) going forward… I had to read the email twice (ok, deffo more than twice!!) because… what!!!!!! After everything with the rejections, the knockbacks, all of that… I keep thinking about what my fairy godmother @Amanda Parkin said to me in one of our very first calls about the right door opening… and it really does feel like I’ve landed exactly where I’m supposed to be.... I just feel really lucky. And very seen. Which is crazy and so very unexpected this early on!!! Alsooo… remember the RAISE summit in Paris that @Sian Kelly Guy shared with us last week?.... I mentioned it in passing and they’ve come back like “this looks amazing”… so I’m currently waiting to hear if I’m getting sent over on a work trip for it 👀✈️... Again… what is my life 🤣 Anyway enough about me… How’s everyone doing this week?... How was your weekend?.... Anything exciting going on or are we just surviving and getting through it? I’ve been paid before, but it’s been nominal small honorariums. This one’s a big one super excited for Honeywell’s Annual Customer meeting.
