Taking it easy today
I just got back from traveling for a week, where I really pushed myself physically. I did get almost 10 hours sleep last night so that helped a little. So today I only did 10 minutes on the treadmill. I'm going into bed soon and elevate my feet. I'm dealing with lymphadema in my arms, legs and ankles. I have a virtual interview I have to do tomorrow morning, so I want to try to get a lot of rest. 😴💪🙌

@Valene Stone Hey Valene, good to hear from you. Thanks for the well wishes.
Finally feeling better
Been sleeping a lot lately. I'm getting on a good cycle. Sitting outside getting some morning sun when I first wake up, to set my circadian rhythm. Slept almost 11 hours last night. Feel so energized today. Did a 5 minute warm up on my stationary bike, then did 24 minutes on the treadmill before noon. Love waking up early. The morning is my most productive time. YAY!! 💗💜💙
Day 36: Keep Your Focus on the Target, Not Your Current Results
Have you ever looked in the mirror, stepped on the scale, or reviewed your goals and thought: “Why am I not seeing bigger results?” One of the biggest mistakes people make is focusing on their current results instead of their desired outcome. If you’re measuring weight loss—or the lack of it—every day, you can easily become discouraged and lose sight of where you’re going. Instead, focus on your target. See yourself as the healthy, fit, confident person you are becoming. Keep your attention on the vision, not on temporary circumstances. Remember, progress often happens before you can see it. Think about a seed planted in the ground. For a while, it looks like nothing is happening. But beneath the surface, roots are growing and preparing for future growth. Your fitness journey works the same way. ✅ Every healthy meal matters.✅ Every workout counts.✅ Every positive choice moves you closer to your goal. Consistency builds confidence.Confidence builds momentum.Momentum creates results. Keep showing up. The person you want to become is created by the small choices you make every day—not by one perfect workout or one perfect week. Today’s Challenge:Write down your fitness goal and spend a few minutes visualizing yourself already living it. Focus on where you’re going, not where you are today. ✨ Your current results are temporary. Your vision is your destination.

@Valene Stone Hey Valene, I'm away right now, in Cleveland Ohio for a real estate investment bus tour and mastermind. I was joined in the hotel gym by another attendee I know throughout the years on zoom. He pushed me to do 5 minutes on the elliptical when I commented that I wasn't good at it. And I did it!!! That was after a half hour on the treadmill and before he suggested and I followed by starting to lift weights because of my age of 55. I'm energized now and ready for a day full of learning!! 🥰
DAY 33: PROGRESS OVER PERFECTION 💪✨
Have you ever put something off because you couldn't do it perfectly? I've been reminded lately that progress always beats perfection. Whether it's your fitness journey, your business, your mindset, or your goals, small consistent actions add up. Today, ask yourself: 👉 What's one small action I can take today that moves me closer to my goal? Remember: Done is better than perfect. Drop your answer below! 👇

As I was walking on the treadmill I wanted to do it for an hour, but my insulin pump start to ring and alert me that my sugar was heading low, so I had to jump off and eat something. Even though I couldn't do it perfectly, I at least got in 31 minutes. Progress, not perfection. My health comes first!!
DAY 34: FOCUS IS YOUR SUPERPOWER 🎯
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that focus creates momentum. When we try to do everything at once, we often end up making little progress on anything. Today, choose ONE thing that will move your life forward. Maybe it's: ✅ A workout ✅ Reading 10 pages ✅ Studying ✅ Reaching out to a potential client ✅ Spending quality time with family Small focused actions create big results over time. What's your ONE thing today?

I spent time listening to the whole book that my friend Gualter Amarelo wrote, Broke to a Quarter Million. He is a real estate investor and it tells his early story getting started. He is also my mentor and in his weekly class we have a book of the week and this week it was his book. I'm starting to listen to next week's book Retire Young, Retire Rich by Robert Kiyosaki, of Rich Dad, Poor Dad fame.
