Magical Sunday picnic
I love being in untamed, wild nature. So today we had a little cacao ceremony, a drum journey and meditation outside in the bush. I’m beyond blessed this is 5min from my house. Pax wanted a bit more action but he practiced sitting still while I meditated and just enjoyed the raw beauty of this place . He also joined the drum with his own vocals 🤣🙏 💛

I love the journey from puppy, finding out who this dog is. I have never really had strong expectations of a dog. I will impart some obedience and my version of liveability with the dog, but with Sterling there are expectations. Sterling however has shown me that regardless of my expectations of him, he is going to be himself, so I am back to enjoying the journey of discovering who that is. Last bite work session with Pat, Sterling was so keen, stormed in to do the work, and then got weird, showing a lot of concern. Pat said Sterling was pretending to be a big boy, and then once working, was worried about what he had got himself into, and how he would manage that. It could have so easily been missed or mistaken, but the coaching for both Sterling & me, keeps the observation, and journey of growth together. Let him be who is he is going to be, but guide him (and me) along the path toward what needs to be a mutual goal.

Rest day
I've been pushing too hard lately and so today I cancelled all my plans, rescheduled all my clients to have a day dedicated to rest. (Really hard for me to do) Zeb thinks its a great idea and is doing his best to enforce extra naps 😴 I am always so very grateful at this little dogs ability to adapt and flow with lifes changes. I have so much to learn from him 😍 Be more dog ❤️
