Hello everyone, and Thank you Coach Kevin and CHESS MASTER SCHOOL for approving me for the group. Looks as though I only introduced myself partially, and maybe in the wrong spot. I'm Donald Peterson, I'm in Massachusetts. I'm new to this amazing game and I'm hooked. I found Chess Master School by doing a broad search on google recently after deciding to start playing more live games, get my ELO up, and dive in as much as time will permit so I can grow in this game. Mostly been playing bots, and some puzzle stuff since I learned to play. August of 2024. My current goals are to 1st, really get a good grasp on the basics, play more live games and raise my playing skills and ELO. As of March 21, I've played about 15 games. at about 53% win/lost ratio. ELO was 373, now it's 419 after 4 straight losses this week. 2nd specifically I want to go after raising my ELO to 1000 over the next 45 days, first midway goal is to reach 700 ELO. Middle-game is kicking my butt😡?!?!?! Also, as challenging as this game is, I want to have fun, and can tell it's great for my brain and even my life. I love what Kasparov says: "LIFE Imitates CHESS!!!" I want to enjoy the victories and really learn from the losses. My User is: DonaldP27 on chess.com if anyone wants to play or anything.
