6/20-21/26 Citizen Garrison watch
This is #1. This is the watch that absolutely gets the most wrist time. Not exactly my “default watch” but has so many good things going for it that it gets the call most often. The medium brown leather strap & blue face match my most common color scheme. It’s reasonably accurate quartz so is ready as grab and go. Eco-drive: I don’t need to worry about winding or occasional battery changes. Stylistically t fits from sweats & tee-shirt well into business casual and the high levels of social casual. It has a solid feel to it so I don’t feel any need to “baby” it like I do with my vintage hand winds & automatics. I’m not happy with this photo. The dark blue face isn’t showing up true color so will redo it with better light. It is reasonably accurate quart

@William Feldtmose Nothing fancy, utilitarian. Does its job and does its job well. Lume is visible all night.
6/19/26 - Hamilton khaki automatic field watch
I know it’s a field watch but the black face & black leather strap serve nicely at the high end of business casual. The red at the end of the second hand is a great touch. If it’s theater or music I’ll put on a true dress watch but this serves a nice niche. Plus it’s Swiss. So there. (Yes, I have one on a brown strap too but that one doesn’t get the wrist time this one does.)

Another one from the charging self. Nice match for summer green & beige business casual. Nice look, quartz so really accurate but Citizen is guilty of making this pseudo-dive looking watch with a bezel that doesn’t move. BOO!

@Brett Sutton Yeah! Right. It rankles…

Another fancy watch benefiting from hard mid-day sun. Being radio-sync it stays within a second. The dark blue with brown leather fits in nicely with my standard color scheme so it gets a lot of wrist time. It has a daily alarm beeper, mine’s set to 6:45 but this time of year I’m up before then anyway. The chronograph is a separate mode from the watch. It takes getting used to. Pull out the stem to the first position (normally day/date setting) to change modes. Don’t try setting up this watch the first time without the manual. It isn’t intuitive… All said, once set-up it does spend more that its fair share of time on my wrist. That covers Thursday. :)

This one has been hiding on the charging shelf. Figured its turn in the rotation had come up. I always set my watches to the second when I wear them for this sort of instance. From the date, it’s been a year since I wore it last. Only 28 seconds fast. Gotta love it!

@Scott Eisenacher There are Casio G-Shocks with tough solar. Somebody forgets about them in a drawer and pulls them out years later. They have a "power save" mode they go into without light. Several cases of being within 4 sec/month over years...

@William Feldtmose The blue is completely within my normal color schemes, but as a red head, the yellow is hard to bring into play, unless as a very sparing accent.
