🛠️ Turn One Correction into a Better Agent Instruction
Yesterday we saved a clean handoff. Today, let’s use a correction to improve the next assignment. I’m Don Wansley. Call me Guru. 🎯 Correct the instruction, then check the result When a Digital Employee misses something, “do better” gives it little to work with. Name the specific problem and the behavior you want instead. Imagine your agent turns your service notes into a customer FAQ. The draft adds a price that wasn’t in your notes. A useful correction is: “Use only prices in the approved notes. If a price is missing, write ‘Price pending Guru’s confirmation.’ Do not estimate it.” Now you have a rule you can test. 📝 Capture a three-line learning note 🔎 What happened: The draft included an unsupported price. 🛠️ New instruction: Missing prices must be marked pending. ✅ Check: Compare every price in the revised draft with the approved notes. Save this beside your job card and current draft. Include the source filename so the next session knows which notes to use. A correction written in chat may not carry into another session automatically. Add the approved rule to the instructions you actually reuse, or provide the note when you resume. 🧪 Test with a small example Give the agent two sample services: one with a confirmed price and one without a price. Use invented sample business details for this practice. Ask it to prepare two FAQ answers using your new rule. Check both: ✅ Did it preserve the confirmed price? ✅ Did it mark the missing price as pending? ✅ Did it avoid adding unsupported details? If the test fails, clarify the rule and try again. A successful sample is useful evidence; continue checking the real work too. 📱 Try this from your phone Paste your approved notes and this assignment into your chosen AI workspace: “Prepare a short customer FAQ from these notes. Use only supported details. Mark missing prices as ‘Price pending Guru’s confirmation.’ Then list which note supports each answer and what remains uncertain. Prepare a draft for review; do not send or publish.”

📂 Give Your Agent a Clean Handoff
Yesterday we gave our Digital Employee a finish line. Today, let’s make it easier to pick up the work tomorrow. I’m Don Wansley. Call me Guru. 📂 Start with a clean handoff Imagine you prepared a customer FAQ today. Tomorrow, you want your agent to improve it. If you only say “continue,” it may not have the approved draft, the corrections, or the next step available. A short handoff gives the next session something concrete to use. 📝 Save these five lines 🎯 Goal: What are we trying to finish? 📎 Current work: Which file or draft should we use? ✅ Checked: What has already been verified? 🚧 Open: What is unfinished or blocked? ➡️ Next action: What should happen next, and what needs approval? Keep this note beside the actual work. Include the exact filename or destination when possible. Before sharing screenshots or receipts with the community, remove private customer information and credentials. 🛠️ Try this assignment “Read this handoff and the attached approved draft. Tell me what you can actually access. Continue from the next unfinished step. Preserve the completed work and check before making another copy. If something is missing, name it. Prepare changes for my review; do not send or publish.” Attach the real materials or provide access through an approved tool. Mentioning a file does not automatically give an agent access to it. 💼 A simple business example Goal: Prepare a customer FAQ from my approved service notes. Current work: Customer-FAQ-draft-v1. Checked: Service names match the notes. Open: Two prices need my confirmation. Next action: Mark those prices as pending and prepare the remaining answers for review. Now the next session can move forward while keeping the uncertain details visible. It should not guess the missing prices. 🤝 Turn experience into a lesson Our ongoing collaboration with ChatGPT and our use of OpenAI technology within Gurus AI give us real workflows to learn from. A clean handoff connects one work session to the next and helps us teach the process.

✅ Teach Your Agent What “Done” Looks Like
Yesterday we talked about learning while your Digital Employee works. Today, let’s give that employee a finish line it can check. I’m Don Wansley. Call me Guru. 🎯 Start with the result Choose one small job: prepare a community post, organize a lesson, or turn approved notes into a customer briefing. Before execution, answer three questions: ✅ What should exist when the job is finished? ✅ Where should it be delivered? ✅ What evidence will show that it works? For a Skool lesson, “done” might mean the correct video is attached, the written lesson is preserved, and playback has been checked. That gives both you and your agent a clear completion standard. 🛠️ Give your agent this assignment “Use my approved materials to prepare one lesson. Preserve the existing content. Tell me what you need before changing anything. Show me the finished result, explain how you checked it, and record any unfinished steps. Prepare the draft for my review; publishing requires my approval.” With the appropriate tools and access, that instruction can guide real work and make review easier. 🔎 Keep a simple work receipt Ask your Digital Employee to return: 📌 Assignment: What was the job? 📂 Result: Where is the finished work? 🧪 Verification: What was actually checked? 🚧 Open items: What remains unfinished? 🧠 Learning: What should we remember for next time? Store that receipt with the project. When work resumes, the next action can begin from evidence. 🤝 Build trust through experience Our ongoing collaboration with ChatGPT and our use of OpenAI technology give Gurus AI real workflows to teach from—including the community, courses, lessons, and videos we’re building here. Each verified result adds to a Digital Employee’s work record. That record helps us decide which responsibilities it has earned. More responsibility should follow demonstrated reliability and explicit authorization. 🔄 Keep LIVE ACTION moving Observe ↔ Think ↔ Act ↔ Verify ↔ Learn ↔ Remember ↔ Adapt ↔ Act. A checked result informs the next action. A correction improves the instructions. Remembered experience helps the next job move forward.
