As a LE the entire focus of your department/entity is to prevent crime, investigate cases, enforce the law and serve the community. In corporate security, the entire focus of your new entity is much different - it's producing a product, serving its customers and making profit. Although a critical concept, adjusting to this new paradigm can be difficult for some former LE.
