Hi everyone! We are looking for an experienced TouchDesigner developer or a small team for a paid commercial project: the development of a complete interactive light and laser room. The task is to create both the interaction concept and the technical control system. Preliminary equipment scope - up to 9 RGB laser projectors; - 3 depth cameras for visitor tracking; - approximately 12–20 DMX / Art-Net-controlled lighting fixtures; - TouchDesigner as the central control system; - Pangolin Beyond / FB4 for laser scene playback. The final number and placement of fixtures may be adjusted based on the proposed concept and the size of the room. Required interaction logic The room should react to visitor presence and movement. As a starting point, we are considering the following mechanics: - one visitor activates a local light or laser zone; - movement causes the light composition to follow the visitor or move between zones; - two visitors can create a visual connection between them; - several visitors activate larger collective scenes; - when the room becomes crowded, the system switches from individual tracking to zone occupancy and group-density analysis. The contractor may propose a stronger or more original interaction concept. We would like to receive 2–3 possible mechanics explaining what visitors do and how the room responds. Technical scope The system should include: - visitor tracking using depth cameras; - interactive zones and multi-person logic; - lighting control via DMX / Art-Net; - triggering and parameter control of prepared laser scenes through Beyond / FB4; - unified color and scene logic; - SHOW, INTERACTIVE, AMBIENT, and SERVICE modes; - a simple operator interface; - system setup, testing, documentation, and handover. The first stage should be a paid technical proof of concept: one camera → one tracked visitor → one interactive zone → one virtual lighting fixture → one test command for a laser scene. We are looking for someone capable of developing the full system, not only individual visual effects.
