Fundraising isn't just about money
Over the years, I helped raise funds for projects in Flores, Indonesia. The organizations work with local communities on education, healthcare, disability inclusion, clean water access, and creating opportunities for people living in remote villages. These projects are very close to my heart. Seeing the impact of even small fundraising efforts taught me something important: š” Fundraising isn't just about money. It's about connecting people. It's about creating opportunities. It's about giving communities the resources they need to build a better future themselves. One of the things I loved most was seeing how people from different countries, backgrounds, and cultures came together around a shared goal: making a positive difference. Those experiences shaped how I view volunteering today. They showed me that meaningful impact doesn't always come from huge organizations or massive budgets. Sometimes it starts with one conversation, one fundraiser, one donor, or one volunteer who decides to take action. I'd love to hear from you: š Have you ever raised funds for a volunteer project, charity, school, community initiative, or nonprofit?š What was the biggest lesson you learned from the experience?
