What are you struggling with?
I have to be honest, I feel like a bit of an imposter right now. I have lower back pain and have had it for several weeks and the usual things that have worked to 'fix' it in the past (ab feather barrier work, seated good mornings, glute roll outs, shakti mat etc) just aren't working this time around. I've gone from having some weeks feeling as good as I've felt as an adult to feeling fragile as ever. It started the day after the recent Parkour comp I did (no specific incident just general pushing beyond/longer then what my body was ready for). I really want a physical solution but I know there's emotions (anger & sadness) locked into it that I'm very resistive too also. Anyway not looking for sympathy but because my instinct is to just shy away and not let you know so I don't appear weak I thought I'd challenge that and be honest and share my own struggles. Curious if you are open to sharing are you struggling/frustrated with anything right now too?

Damn Tim… Get well soon!! It’s pretty funny how the ego is trying to protect itself, but the fact that you shared it makes you even stronger. At least for me!

I am struggling with an outward rotation Dysfunction of my right hip, which makes my hips feel pretty stiff in some positions; an worse and worse getting wrist; an better and better getting polen allergy and a spinal right rotation. Lets see where this all goes.
Share a small Win! 🙌🏼
Having some small by noticeable wins in my training recently so I'd love to pass the question off to you guys... Please comment below and share any recent small (or big) win in your training/body/biomechanics practice!

Live Chat Replay + WORLD MAP OF S.O.B. STUDENTS!
I created a SOB world Map here: https://timsgym.skoolmap.io/ But I need your help in adding yourself... To add yourself click on the pin in the bottom right hand corner > Add location > Fill in the details (username on your profile in settings, case sensitive). @Glenn Kirchmann and @Dimitris Akritidis both met up this weekend in Munich having met through SOB. I thought it would be great to see where the rest of us sit on a map to see if any other meetups can happen! _________________ LIVE CHAT THURSDAY MAY 16th - 7pm London Time https://us06web.zoom.us/j/6545190395 Look forward to speaking with some of you there! Said, changed, done. - ,,the chief“ tim shieff One man one word, you say in German. :D Thanks for the quick update, I appreciate that function!
Where r u from?
I‘ve met Glenn today. A guy I found via the SOB community and it immediately turned out to be a fantastic idea. We had so many similar interests and approaches in life, thorough we didn’t even know it before we went into the spontaneous meeting. We practiced, had fun togather and enjoyed the good weather. I would like to give everyone little reminder of how similar we probably are in this community, how many friendships might be just a car ride away and want to encourage people to connect. So give others the chance to connect with YOU and share your residential area in the comments below! It would be a pleasure to find someone from Munich/bavaria (Germany)

@Daniel Mensinga I wanted to visit Freiburg this summer by bike, for a lil city trip. Would you be up to meet for a lil sesh?
QOTW – What approach/fundamental did you reject that you now accept/use?
Just had the pleasure of meeting and training SOB member @Tommy Holgate in Matlock. After a fun session of Football juggling & kettlebell juggling we filmed a quick chat about his experience in SOB and he had this weeks question of the week. So, what fundamental/approach or training method did you once overlook or reject because it was commonplace or mainstream and you threw the baby out with the bath water so to speak, and now you realise it has value?

I had the feeling about stregthtraining with machines, because it has nothing to to do with realife motions. BUT when you were speaking about the two extremes reaching from Balance to pure strength, I grasped you’re logic and will actually build that in with people when I train them. Big thanks for that!
