Octane Advice Needed :)
Hello everyone! I was about to recreate this scene in c4d using Octane Render and I need some advice. I made rough scene using similar objects, without champaign. The hardest part is lookdev part: texturing and lightning. I have no clue how to get similar scene as the reference, but still I am keep leaning how to do it. I would be glad if you give me some advice on how to make texture of : 1. Floor. I tried to make with gloss and specular (I was not mixing I just used once gloss, and once specular) material changing color to relevant, but result is not good. I also applied noise to bump to add some "detail" 2. Golden "Chips/pringles" I don't know exactly how to call. but these are the things above the sphere and which are holding champaign. I searched in Youtube how to make gold texture, but only thing I found is making it through metallic texture and changing color to orange and adding some roughness. 3. Background. I guess there is z-depth for sure as it's blurring the horizon and ground making seamless transition. But still have no clue how to make it. Additionally there are sort of "clouds". Is it made in compositing in After Effects adding smoke footage? 4. Last but not least is Lightning. Only thing I can tell is that Champaign is well lighted, but regarding to HDRI have no clue. I will be really gratefull if you help me with some advices how to achieve certain things in the composition. Best regards, Dilik

Plasticity
Amazing tutorials by Nikita as always! I've discovered this tool to be really impressive and user friendly. I always had problems with modelling, but now I am working on my weak points. I was curioous anybody can help me to model these chocolates :) It's funny as I've modelled complex granade but I can't model simple objects.

@Nikita Kapustin Hello Nikita! Thank you so much for the tutorial! Yes, you pronounced my name correctly :) Yes, I was struggling to make these simple objects ๐Ÿ˜… As I am freshman in modelling and Plasticity is my first program for modelling, it's quite tough for me right now, but it's just manner of time. Definitely watching your tutorials will help me boost my skills. I guess the details I will add through textures as you mentioned in Octane (foil and scratches) I would be really grateful if you would show really quick overview how to modell all these simple objects. I guess there are 9 chocolates, 2 of them you have already shown. No commentory needed to save your time :) Just want to see the pipeline of geometries. P.s some of chocolates have some details on their own, like the one with orange foil and the one with yellow foil. I am really grateful if you show them as well. Thank you so much, Nikita!

Hello everyone! I am glad to be in the community of people who shares the same interest and ideas. I found an amazing channel of Nikita yesterday and since then I've been doing almost all his tutorials, literally can't stop watching them and learning new things. As I've ADHD it's always hard for me to sit and watch hourly tutorials in YouTube and follow along. Happily, I've not faced this issue with Nikita's videos. Here are some results of recent works so far. Accomplished all the mini series of Dior Perfume: modelling, texturing, lightning. I've question regarding to Iphone 12 3D model, since there was no tutorial of making phone, I downloaded the source file and there were some missing textures, glad Nikita helped to figure out. Unfortunatelly was not able to fix the color of the phone. I changed the color in transmission to more blueyish, but result is not as same as in the tutorial. Thank you in advance for everyone for advices. Best regards, Dilik
