**DO NOT POST YOUR IMAGE HERE** I do encourage you to ask questions on this post! Week 1 Challenge: Palette Problem This week we're doing graphic design — and we're putting you in a box. A very pretty box. Your challenge: Design a flyer for your product, brand, or passion project — using only 2 colors. That's it. Two. Pick wisely. 👀 The constraint: Two colors maximum — and one of them has to be unexpected. Not your usual safe choice. Push yourself. Think: deep plum + warm cream. Burnt orange + slate blue. Forest green + blush pink. Something that makes people stop scrolling. What you're making: A real Instagram Stories / TikTok flyer you could actually post — to promote a product launch, an event, a collection drop, a service, anything. This isn't just an exercise. Make it yours. A few things to play with: - Let typography do more heavy lifting when color is limited - Lean into contrast — light vs. dark can do a lot with just two shades - Think vertically! This format is tall — use that space intentionally 🎨 Using a product photo? Pull your two colors from the photo itself — pick two that contrast well against each other — and use those for all your design elements. Everything stays cohesive and the challenge still holds. ✨ 🛠️ Need help setting this up in Canva? All of these would qualify for this challenge! HOW you design it isn’t important… The emotional connection. The message. The call to action. Those things, and the ability to stop the scroll…..that’s what we want to do here. I’ll drop more soon and go live this week to continue talking about it 🫶🏼

Sharing a design I created to give you an example of what your graphic might look like. It’s simply a marketing flyer you are creating for your business. I’m promoting a community. I’m only using two colors! The message in the flyer is clear. There’s a clear CTA (call to action) - join my community. Your flyer can be laid out ANY way you want it! Struggling already? My guess is 1 - you haven’t picked a product/service (just one); and 2 - you have no idea what you want it to say. Figure that out first. Make it an emotional connection with the viewer. Then if you’re feeling stuck? Let’s go to Pinterest! Search “product design flyer inspiration”. Search “tshirt promo flyer”. I did to show you more examples… and look at my screenshots - a lot of these are literally only using two colors in their designs 🙌 And no rush - you have til next Sunday for us to figure this out!
