Car boot find…
I did well at the Easter car boot, a lady was selling her crafting stash. I got buttons bows gem stickers and more! I have put to use some eyes too! Phil put holes in bottle tops so we can make bugs and beaded bracelets ar our Easter class tommorow.

Trying something new!
I had a lovely message from Melissa a few minutes ago and she sent me a video message in the chat. So here I was sitting here in my new craft room before I go to bed. And I thought I would try a LIVE impromptu video here too. On my table beside me is something I was working on today using a plastic drinks bottle. To make this I used my Cordmaker, but I guess you can use a traditional hook too. Do post if you try it. Also I am inviting you to post a short LIVE video back to me as I am wondering if this is possible. I really do hope so!

Crochet Art…advanced!
Latch Hook Crochet Art During Covid 2020 I worked on my own crochet art using a fine latch hook. The one I used came as a latch hook tool for my knitting machine. I loved doing this, but my focus now is on teaching Latch Hook Crochet. I will be introducing more Cordcrochet once I have fathomed the best way to sell my Cordmaker. Moving from Shropshire, selling our smallholding, moving to rented accommodation In North Yorkshire, then buying and moving into our own house has been epic. Being overwhelmed with online learning, finding Skool and now Substack all takes time. CordCrochet will be on the menu and I look forward to sharing this new craft. Btw… you can order a Cordmaker straight from me! Or win one in our Easter Challenge!

Introducing Fluffy Owl
Fluffy Owl is a Brownie leader. I grew up with a Brownie Leader, it was my mum and her name was Brown Owl… I much prefer Fluffy!! I know just how much love and dedication it takes as a volunteer in Girl Guiding . My mum was a Guider, We were all guides , including my Dad who was known a Sir Brown Owl! Lisa is a member of our community and she said she would like to teach her Brownies how to crochet, which is amazing because she would need to learn how to crochet first. Lisa is one of the first to complete the Yarn Bag Challenge , so let’s all congratulate her on this achievement! So last night, between us we taught 9 Brownies how to crochet their first bracelet using a latch hook. Some even made a flower necklace and it was one of those best ever nights, seeing the enthusiasm from everyone including the leaders. I think the children really enjoyed being able to wear what they made. Thank you so much Lisa for this opportunity and for teaching these kids so much.
