How I would start from zero today
Hey everyone! I was having coffee with my neighbor yesterday, and she said something that really stuck with me. She asked, "If you had to start learning about AI from absolute zero today, what would you do differently?" It got me thinking about my own messy journey. I remember spending weeks diving into technical articles that went completely over my head, feeling totally overwhelmed and honestly a bit stupid. If I could go back to day one, I'd probably start by just playing around with ChatGPT for simple everyday tasks first. Maybe asking it to help me write grocery lists or explain concepts I'm curious about, rather than trying to understand neural networks right away. I'd also give myself permission to not understand everything immediately. The pressure to "get it" fast was my biggest roadblock. Looking back, the best learning happened when I stopped trying to be an expert overnight and just started experimenting with one tool at a time. For those of you just starting or thinking about starting your AI journey, what's holding you back the most right now?

So true about the pressure to get it fast. But then what happens is things change so fast as well so you just figure something out and it is replaced by something better. The key for me is to know the foundations. What would you say are the foundations anyone should know if they are starting with AI and want to use it to start building?
It's Thursday
At least where I am at. How are you all great people of the community doing? Any weekend projects in the works? Or plans maybe. I am working on some bot. How about everyone else? Write yours here 👇👇👇

Last night I was watching a TV Show FBI Most Wanted. It was about someone who created a bot for people going through grief but it never really took off so someone bought it and turned it into an AI girlfriend bot and that became successful. It made me wonder what does sell out there. Maybe it is true that something truly helpful will get no one buying it or low sales but something like having an AI girlfriend can make you millions 😂 So now I am trying to think about my "AI girlfriend" bot. What is it that might attract loads of attention and not because its helpful but simply because enough people want it for themselves!

Thank you, @Rob Tablan and @Tammy Elu I appreciate the welcome 🤗 and look forward to our group builds 🙂
What are you actually trying to build with AI?
What are you trying to make happen? More money? More time? A real business? A skill that pays? Because AI is just a tool. If there’s no clear goal, it turns into endless experimenting… and no results. Drop ONE sentence: “I’m using AI to ______.”

I have built an eCommerce store using Django. A complete system that allows me to set up digital stores. My aim now is to increase traffic to the stores I am building. Eventually I may have 100 stores. I will need AI to help me manage them. I am just not sure how that will work yet.
One simple AI workflow that can turn into a paid service
Curious about AI but worried it's too complicated? Here's the thing: you don't need to be a tech genius to build something valuable. I just watched one of our community members discover a simple AI workflow that's already bringing in her first $500 this month. Nothing fancy. Just three tools working together to help local businesses with their social media content. The best part? She learned it all in our free community in just two weeks. That's what I love about "Automate Your Income." We skip the confusing jargon and focus on real, practical stuff you can actually use. Whether you want to streamline your current work, start a side hustle, or just understand what all the AI buzz is about. Inside, you'll find step by step tutorials that make sense, friendly people who actually answer questions, and tons of "aha!" moments that make you think "wait, AI can do THAT?" No experience required. No pressure to keep up with anyone. Just practical AI skills explained like your smartest friend is walking you through it over coffee.
